we asked the city to do the same and we'll have a full report tonight on nbc bay area. reporting live at oakland international airport, bob redell, nbc bay area news. thank you for that. we do have breaking news for you this midday to tell you about. he's been tracking the east bay. what's happening there. >> a tragic situation, the worst thing i have to report and it's a deadly crash and that's what's been reported over there and most of the morning commute has eased up as it turns toward the green and the yellow shows you the traffic backed up into the pass that has built over the past two hours. this crash happening almost exactly two hours ago after 9:00 a.m. and westbound 580 and all five lanes blocked on the right and the left before squeezing by and the speed sensors looked like they were improving a little bit and there may be movement. there are three larger vehicles and a motorcycle that's involved as well as a coroner arriveded on scene. as of three minutes ago they had arrived and we are monitoring this in the newsroom. back to you. >> all right, mike. thank
