ktvu leo carroll here now in studio and bailey, the driver of that vehicle. nowhere to be found tonight. >> mike. yeah, the highway patrol have released very few details about this accident. what we do know is that a nine year old girl was killed. four other passengers were taken to the hospital, all with major injuries. and that driver did leave the scene. according to chp and contra costa county, an suv with six people in it traveling northbound on interstate 680 went off the road just after 5 a.m. on sunday and crashed into a median at the interstate 680 and highway 242 interchange. the suv flipped multiple times, causing the people inside to be ejected, and a nine year old girl was pronounced dead on scene and four other women were taken to john muir hospital in walnut creek with serious injuries, according to initial investigation, several people in the suv were not wearing a seatbelt. ktvu traveled to where the crash happened and noticed the guardrail was mangled, though the highway patrol would not say if that was because of today's crash. chp says the
