. >> nbc bay area's damian trujillo is in los gatos with the details on this one. >> reporter: we reached out to vasona creek health care, the lawsuit claims richard died after eating contaminated food. >> he was brought to vasona creek health care for post surgery rehab. that was back in december of 2021. the lawsuit alleges the center gave trong a contaminated sandwich which they claim led to intestinal problems and seizures. trong ultimately died at good samaritan hospital. some family with patients inside the health care center today say the incident worries them a lot. >> the fact that there was tainted food that started this whole thing, the guy is laying there for who knows how long, choked and two nurses didn't know what to do, turn him on his side, set him up, whatever, that's, you know, i can't understand that part. they're supposed to be trained. >> reporter: others are not so concerned, and say they are happy with patient safety here. >> yeah. >> reporter: the suit alleges two nurses argued with each other about how to position trong's body when he was having seizures. good sa
