we are looking at some of the rain moving down parts of half moon bay, san mateo and approaching parts of san jose. those returns are lighter. as we are winding down going to bed tonight, the santa cruz mountains are not looking at the pink over mount hamilton, that will be toward the midnight hours. it was cold this morning when we got the chance to see the light dusting of snow. as we go to sunday morning, a bit of a break but for the north bay we continue to watch the light activity and here we go with the models trying to break the rain apart in the afternoon. for the north bay, and parts of the tri-valley. that will be it as we take it to the rest of the weekend and into monday. what is going on? as people try to get outside and do things. day two of the cherry blossom festival. mostly overcast and mid 50s but no rain out there. for the game at paypal park, cold in the 50s and wind speeds will be calm compared to today. the seats should not be wet for you to go out and support the ladies. slightly warmer tomorrow, temperatures in the 50s and 60s but i monday the sunshine starts to

san mateo county has already finished counting its ballots, and santa clara county expects to finish tomorrow morning. and the man who requested the recount spoke with our ian cull today in his first tv interview. during this process, he said it is, quote, mind boggling that the recount is taking this long. many questions have also been raised about who is funding the superpac that's footing the bill for the recount. so we asked him about it. there's been absolutely no talks with mr. liccardo or his campaign. anybody on the campaign. this is done completely without any of their knowledge. and, you know, they even want us to do things we're not necessarily willing to do right now, like reveal the donors. we're going to do that following fec guidelines. and mid-july, that man, jonathan padilla, has challenged 32 ballots that are still in envelopes across the district. he argues that they should be added to the results. those challenges will have to be ruled on before the recount can be finalized by the state. well, keep your windows closed tonight. that's the message from firefighters
