that happened this morning at san francisco international airport. so this time it was because of hydraulic leaking that caused smoke to billow out of the landing gear. according to the airline, this is routine and often occurs when that fluid comes in contact with breaks. a united spokesperson telling us here on kron 4 that plane landed safely. the plane was an airbus, a 3.20, with 150 passengers and 5 crew members on board. no one was hurt. all the 150 passengers and crew members, we understand are okay. this though, happening just one week after a united plane lost a tire during takeoff from sfo. and new video now of what caused a united flight bound for san francisco to turn back towards sydney, australia video showing hi thus fluid there spewing from the right landing gear as it took off from sydney on monday. 183 people on board this flight. the boeing 7.77 had to dump fuel before returning. it landed safely. witnesses reported seeing smoke coming from the landing gear after touching down and this coming after another boeing emergency landing.
