this is not the first time that tragedy has struck on foothill road in pleasanton. there have been four deadly crashes in the last two decades including one on christmas night , 2019. twin teenage brothers, their friend, were killed, their car also slammed into a tree. our juliette goodrich was at the scene, and said this road has a reputation. >> reporter: i can tell you from growing up here and living here as a resident now, foothill road has always been known as a dangerous stretch of roadway. in particular, this spot right now, where it merges into one lane. cars right now are going the speed limit, but sometimes that's not always the case. parents have tried to get things changed along the roadway, and as a parent can anytime we hear there is an accident or fatality because our kids to make sure they aren't behind the wheel. that's the latest from wasn't him. i'm juliette goodrich. sarah? >> pleasanton unified district told us counseling services will be available to students and staff friday in the wake of the tragedy. >>> tonight pro-palestinian protest movem
