on october 1st, 94% of california was in severe drought or worse. now the number has dropped to almost zero. this is before we look at the data from the past couple of days. it will be factored into the update next week. what we need is a break from the rain. we will get it. drying out, and not quite as chilly for the next couple of days. let's look at futurecast. a little fog developing by tomorrow morning. it will not last long and should not have a big impact on the friday morning commute. clouds and sunshine tomorrow. another storm system heading towards the pacific coast but not towards us. it will be towards the pacific northwest. we will be on the southern fringe of the influence of this system. while it is possible that we see showers make their way into the north bay and along the coast and golden gate, that will be saturday afternoon and evening. you see just a few radar freckles showing up on futurecast. this does not look like it will be a significant rainmaker at all for the bay area, then we are back to a mix of clouds and sunshine wit
