but the first obama term was a high point for us race relations. a majority of of both white blacks beat. look at the data and something happened. around 2013 and it just began to nosedive so that by 2021, about half of the people that thought race relations were good in 2012 and 13 at the same in 2021. so the question is what happened? people like to republicans like to blame obama and democrats like to blame president trump. but neither of those explanations actually make sense of the data....
