this is the line that is expected to tie sacramento and san francisco bay area with los angeles and san diego. but now, its change in party leadership that could pull that money off the project here. the republican lawmaker in line to head up the house transportation committee says he wants to reexamine $10 billion in grants for high speed rail lines. it's been president obama's signature programs but the ranking gop member is saying that he didn't degree with the transportation department's funding selection. not that he supports high speed rail but he is opposed to the regions that may not support the services. there are many that oppose the trains running through the cities because of noise and other reasons. what the gop leader is saying perhaps some of the rojs that were ignored before like in the northeast corridor should be the ones that get it because it's more dense in population. today at 10:00 in sacramento, the california high speed rail authority is meeting to discuss continuing with the project. certainly it will be a hot topic there. >>> california's governor elect jerry
