would you expect the same in washington state? >> you know, i don't know what we can expect in washington state. colorado and washington both took different approaches to selling marijuana, and to dealing with the legalization. so i'm not sure that you can really compare the two at this point. >> what have been some of the successes and failures of the approach in your state? >> well, one of the successes is that through april the state got $10.8 million worth of tax money. that's not counting the county taxes or the city taxes that were also put on the--on marijuana. that's a really good thing. in 2010 there were 10,000 people in colorado arrested for possession of marijuana. in 2014, we aren't having anybody arrested for possession of marijuana. and in fact, there are now 10,000 people working in the marijuana industry in colorado. that's a really good success story to be talking about. even the governor of colorado, john hickenlooper, who was against legalization said it has definitely helped the economy here through the last y
