the problem, well, he won't be there. ♪ now fox 29 news at 10:00. you hear a lot about fake news ton night we got a crazy one here in our area. hollywood a listers are dragged into it all going down in lehigh county. good evening, and thanks for joining us i'm iain page. >> i'm lucy noland. it includes bruce willis and at appearance at local ice cream shop. it's bogus. let's get to dave kinchen and white house pa, dave. >> reporter: well, it turns out the star power is very much real in this area but some of these events popping up online on social media those are certainly fake. >> i think it's kind of silly, like, it's obviously not going to happen. >> it would have been diehard fans delight facebook invitation to eat ice cream with bruce willis at ice cream world nearly a len town. store managers were quick to point out it's pulp fiction. >> it's kind of dumb. why would you make that kind of a post. >> reporter: fox 29

investigation revealed that someone posted the fake event on facebook and used what clearly looks like a doctored picture showing willis holding an ice cream cone. >> it's clearly photo shopped. it's clearly fake. >> they just put background into his picture. p>> gets everybody we're goinino see bruce willis and then, you know, then nothing. >> reporter: after numerous calls ice cream world posted on social media it knows nothing about the event though they'd lost to meet bruce willis if he were to show up but it didn't stop there. >> it was crazy. the phones were ringing over dinner. >> separate facebook event said people could hang out with samuel l. willis and bruce willis at staley's bar on november 17th. a shock to the owner. >> people won't take no for an answer. people were coming out with a printout from their computer saying he'll be here. >> no, he's not. >> further investigation revealed the fake event at staley's was moved and moved to mahoney's irish pub down the

street. >> they heard about it on facebook. they want to know how they can get here and do they have to sign up and all kinds of stuff. basically, said, it's a hoax. i wish they were coming but they're not. >> reporter: this too proved to be a hoax. although bruce willis was apparently spotted at an allentown area restaurant as seen in this picture on the lehigh valley with love instagram page and he's in the area shooting a movie. >> going to show up for lunch somewhere. show up for lunch somewhere. you know what i mean? nobody is going to know. i'm sure they don't need all the fanfare either. >> while the businesses we visited have no plans to host the ann actors they say -- >> it would be great if if they came. it would be wonderful. it would be crazy for because we're pretty busy. >> bruce willis and samuel element jackson are in allentown shooting the movie glass so the real celebrity sightings are likely to connell. lucy? >> there you go. all right, dave kinchen, thank you. new jersey has been cracking

probably four, 5:00 a.m. that this kicked in. temperatures right now are really warm. it's 64 in philadelphia. that's warmer than the normal high this time of year. as those temperatures fall into the 50s. that's when the atmosphere is going to moisten up a little bit. that will be happening. warm everywhere. burlington vermont 61. ottawa 57. so everyone will be feeling that fog overnight. right now visibility is pretty decent. nine, 10 miles but it is going to be problem overnight. dense fog is likely especially along the i-95 corridor and to the south and east. so as we look ahead we're talking about visibility down to quarter mile or less at times with a clear skies and light winds. low level moisture means high dew points perfect ingredients for dense fog. go neighborhood by neighborhood and show you who will see this the worst come tomorrow morning and in just a few minutes. i'll be back with the seven day. >> sounds good, thank you much, kathy. major construction alert in philadelphia. starting at 8:00 monday night, the southbound schuylkill avenue near 30th street station will

54-year-old anthony, tears up. >> it's very overwhelming. >> reporter: as he row his through video his daughter's wedding day. >> by all means and purposes i shouldn't have been there i guess. i mean god works in mysterious ways. >> reporter: he was driving northbound on i-295 near moorestown the morning of jul july 24th when he went into cardiac arrest. he sideswiped another car then rammed into the guardrail. by fluke a camden county police lieutenant was southbound heading to work much later than usual. kevin lutz saw the accident, pulled over and dragged the man from the car. >> his head was cocked back and he was -- he was blue and he wasn't breathing. me along with another passerby began to conduct chest compressions and conduct cpr. >> reporter: emt's shocked him back to life. he recovered quickly. and 18 days after his near death experience, he was there in mexico to walk his daughter christina down the aisle.

all thanks to a never really off duty police lieutenant. >> i feel like all the things had to fall into place for everything to work out the way it did is truly just miracle. >> right time right place right guy. >> understatement, yes. >> reporter: on this days lutz was among several dozen camden county officers receiving awards for good deeds. he looked around the room, he couldn't help but think -- >> let's face it today the police get a bad rap and it's wrong. it's so wrong. >> who presents this woman in marriage? >> i do, her father. >> reporter: anthony was there for his daughter because kevin lutz was there for him. and on the day after the wedding, he texted lutz a photo of himself with his daughter along with a simple sentiment. >> just very thankful that god put him in my path. >> lieutenant lutz told me he'd like to believe anyone would have done what he did that morning provided they had the right training. i'm not so sure that's true. it seems to me it takes a special kind of person to serve

♪ scary moments for woman in alabama when kidnap we are grabs her from her own bed. this all happened monday when the suspect timothy wyatt stopped at a gas station. the victim managed to get out by hopping out of the trunk and later you can see the guy run back to his car and just take off. another angle shows both of them in the store with the victim actually running for her life. wyatt was arrested the next day. tonight philadelphia police are looking for a man they say don't be fooled by what he tells you. that's the guy they're after. apparently, this week he claimed to be a worker for verizon to get into young woman's home and what happened next was terrifying. police say he tried to sexually assault the teenager but she fought back. she escaped. fox 29's dave schratwieser has the details. >> this was scary situation for my granddaughter.

>> reporter: on the 4900 block of mall berry street in frankford, family members and neighbors are worried after a man posing as verizon worker broke into a home here and attempted to rape and 18-year-old woman inside her own house. >> this person ran into this house. ran into my mom' house and grabbed her and started sexually assaulting her. >> reporter: police say the teenager heard a knock at the door. she yelled from an upstairs window. the man captured on surveillance video said, he was a verizon worker there to fix the cable box. then she heard a noise and found the same man approaching her on the second floor. >> got involved in confrontation with her and he then sexually assaulted her inside the house. >> reporter: captain bergman says the teenager bravely managed to fight the man off. >> the complainant was able tagrag a hold of a sword that belonged to family there and threaten him with the sword. >> there was a very large sword, and she pointed it at him and he ran right out the house.

♪ less than a day after a suspect shot at him a camden police officer is already smiling as he recovers from his hospital bed. we're also learning more about the events that unfolded before the gunman opened fire. our brad sattin has the story. >> reporter: two thumbs up from a man blessed all right. army reservist and camden county police officer patrick o'hanlon recovering after a bullet in the leg and nearly one to the head. he left his patrol car around 10:00 wednesday night to approach three men near eighth and chelten when one of the men ran. what the officer didn't know according to police 19-year-old dell ron may han an alleged gang member from lindenwold arrested at least ten times with three felony cop fifty six in his past had gun and fired once into his leg just missing an artery. >> it appears that the suspect tried to shoot the officer a

they went to the grocery store and bought more. they're planning yet another picnic tomorrow. tomorrow we're also hoping the officer gets out of the hospital. in camden, brad sattin fox 29 news. new york city concrete barriers are going up along the bike path where a man in a truck barreled down for blocks just two days ago. 57 barriers will line the west side highway. authorities hope this will help prevent a similar attack. eight people died. many others are hurt after a 29-year-old man who has alleged allegiance to isis raced down the path filled with bicyclists and pedestrians in rented truck. he faces federal terrorism charges. we have little bit of breaking news in right now. for 11 minutes today at real donald trump the world's most famous twitter account went do down. went silent. deactivated in the twitter verse. so what happened? twitter originally said it was human error. well twitter is now saying one of its customers did it on their last day. and so there you have it. mystery solve. the debate over immigration

he stood up to north jersey special interests nobody delivers more for south jersey than steve sweeney. to increase funding for our schools. he stopped christie's commuter tax, saving south jersey residents over 200 million dollars. and he led the charge to pass paid family leave. aarp applauded sweeney for freezing property taxes for seniors and cutting prices on prescription drugs.
