but we are talking about quick warm up. it is 70 in the city, 59 in allentown, there is the 10 degrees temperature difference, clear, calm, you wake up, step outside, maybe little cooler, around the city. look at these numbers coming in from the north and western suburbs, kutztown, 58, hazleton, 54, mount pocono, 50's, this morning, little cooler there. mid to low 60s to the south, six off in woodbine, brigantine at 67. there is the 72 in lawn neck. last few days for the pool. take advantage of today, though, definitely. in fact, the next few days, grab the sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, 62 to 67 this morning, but quickly warming up, into the 80s by this afternoon. it is clear, nice, center city. we have the rip countries being there, at the shore, mainly southern new jersey, south jersey, watch for that, especially, the next few days, cool start, but warming up nicely this afternoon. of course this weekend, well, we will see if the temperature warm up continues. also looking at some rain coming in, i'll track it all and have update coming up.

let's get an update on the roadways. we go to bob kelly for that. >> morning, everybody, exactly 54:02, end a wednesday morning, good shape up and down 476 leaving saint david's headed down toward 95. little slow go here on the schuylkill. left over work crew near montgomery. but looking good, spring garden street. no problems or delays into or out of the city, the headlight, working past spring garden street, we got the light still on at boathouse row. ninety-five, northeast philly, all the construction crews pick up, and we're ready for morning rush hour. some left over's from last night for the morning, water main break, along business route 30. that's lancaster avenue, as you roll through downingtown. so, for the morning rush hour, if you are going through downingtown, heading over toward frazier, or heading out toward morgantown, i would use the 30 bypass, to avoid getting stuck. accident investigation underway, this is in south jersey, route 130 northbound, closed, now the accident happened at beverly road. which is right there by

stewart's roof beer. so they are pushing traffic off in a man their will get you back around and up to 413. so you want to use campus drive over to sunset, and then salem, will put you back to the intersection where you can access the burlington bristol bridge. again, northbound lanes closed, southbound are open. of course we had this active fire scene out here, abrams run apartment along bill smith boulevard. good news here as far as through traffic, getting into king of prussia, gulph road is open this morning. chris, lauren, back to you. >> thanks so muchment bob just talked about, fire crews are working out there, battling an apartment fire in the king of prussia area. >> jennifer joyce is there, jennifer, good morning, are you on bill smith road as bob just made mention of? >> we are, and right now in front of building 300. this is where the fire started. we are watching as peco crews off to the left here dig through the ground. they are trying to get to the gas line to try to cut off the gas flow. because right now that's what's fueling this fire off to the right here. the fire was placed under

control around 2:30 this morning, it broke out just before 1:30 this morning in build being 300 of the abrams run apartment complex. it is believed it started in a second floor apartment, we talked to man on the first floor, awoke end by the loud pops of burning materials. he told us he jumped into action, he grabbed his fire extinguisher, tried to battle the flames himself before fire crews arrived but didn't work the the fire spread quickly and up through the rafters, much of the roof is destroyed. the entire building, 16 units, condemned, 30 people need to find a place to stay. the red cross is assisting. in addition to dealing with the active gas line, keeping this fire going, the king of prussia fire chief says, also, there was water main break in the midst of everything, fortunately, that did not affect the water source to the hoses. chris, lauren? >> all right, keep an eye on that, jennifer, thank you very much. >> new this morning, man in critical condition after being shot outside a port richmond

bar. >> this happened at the last shop baron the 2700 block of east allegheny avenue shortly before midnight. >> the victim was shot in the stomach, three times. police say he ran inside the bar after he was shot, the gunman then fired into the bar. luckily, no one in the bar was hit with bullet. the suspect took off, and was later taken into custody. >> societies ville man dead after he slashed a sheriff deputy at the chester county courthouse. >> so you will know this guy, because he was part of international story back in march. police say this man, 34 year old curtis smith, returned at deputy and slashed him with a knife in his arm and hand. another deposition ooh youth i opened fire killing smith. chester county d.a. says he's the same man charged for scaling the wall at the white house, back in march. witnesses inside the courthouse describe the terrifying moments, that sent him running for cover. >> just this guy popped through, run through the door, and says i'm going to get you, i'm going to get you. >> heard like four gunshots, we ran out, we came out, we looked down, i could see like

blood on the floor, a lady curled up in the corner, cher -- bloodied. >> police say the dispute that i smith slashed will be okay. remember, the secret service arrested smith for this stunt at the white house. so he is a trouble guy clearly. >> yes, pennsylvania attorney general kathleen kane says her office is waiting on more guidance from the state supreme court about what can be released in connection to the porn gate e-mail scandal. challenging open record request by the philadelphia inquirer. kane said she hopes the state supreme court will decide before a september hearing, what can be released. emails inning changed between former and current staffers. kane office says worried releasing some of the materials could be perceived as retaliation against people who are witnesses against her. kane is facing criminal charges that she leaked confidential grand jury information in another case. and then lied about it under oath. 5:60 the time on this wednesday morning, parents, chester upland school district are outraged over a messy budget bat thal could possibly

push back the start of the school year. parent and teachers showed up for the district meeting last night to discuss the budget cuts, that the heart of the crisis is funding for special ed student in district charter schools. those schools are receiving $40,000 per special ed student. compare that to the $10,000 regular school district student received. the district asked the judge to reconsider how the district dolls out the money. last night that request was denied. >> charter schools have their right to exist. but they do not have a right to take away all of the children so that at the can exist. >> looks like a big mess. >> frustrating? >> it is because our children's future is in play here. >> so, at this point, school is slate today start on september 2nd. and pennsylvania governor tom wolf released a statement after the judge's ruling it, red in part: judge's decision to reject necessary reforms to the special education rates paid by the school district, to its charter schools, will

unfortunately allow a decades old problem to persist. and the district's massive budget deficit will only worsen. happening today: philadelphia residents will call on the pennsylvania senator on a nationwide day of action, local activists say they'll gather in front of senator rob -- excuse me, bob casey's office this afternoon urging him to support the iran deal. they say senator casey hasn't announced his position on the nuclear deal, they're hoping to convince him by delivering a petition. it is one of more than 200 events planned across the country today, all part of the no-war with iran day of action. >> meanwhile, new jersey governor chris christie calling on congress to vote down the iran nuclear agreement deal. the presidential hopeful calls the proposal a bad deal put the nation's security at risk. christy also taking a major swipe at the obama administration, which he says, is only focused on its legacy, not the good the country. >> the fact is that we have to wait 24 days to inspect any place that we ask to inspect.

that's the intersection, the traffic light at beverly road. now, right now, police still investigating the crash, so all northbound lanes are closed. the trick trying to get past this, and up to the burlington bristol bridge. so they're diverting folks off of campus drive, quick onto sunset, back to salem, back in business getting around the accident scene. water main break, left over from last night. this in downingtown, business route 30, right at beech street. business 30 also known there as lancaster avenue. so rolling through downingtown, this morning, i would stay with the bypass, the apartment fire, not impacting any traffic into or out of king of prussia. only good news here. gulph road is open to get yourself to up kop. and the interchange for 202, and the schuylkill.

detours, but you can see how bad this accident is. what's left of an acura, front end, where the engine compartment is in front of this end err enterprize. now pan over to the right, you see the back end, upside down, in front of an old car dealership that's now an auto body business. and so there is car got split long before this. so there is more damage further ahead in the dark, in front after volkswagon dealership. and it look like a one car accident, we don't know if second car was involved, and nudge in the car, and obviously you don't have to be an intelligent person to realize that speed was a factor here, the speed limit on 130 up here is like 50 miles an hour. i don't know if 50-mile per hour crash would do something like there is but this happened about 2:00 this morning, and so, you are looking at hours of it being shutdown, whenever we have fatal accident investigations, there is a no rush, no matter how big the road is, to reopen the road. so a loft investigators here, and they have it lit up with construction lights, and they
