football player is accused of breaking into an off campus house and punching a student while he slept. 20-year-old brian giveins and other members of the mountain hawks team broke into the home on pierce street on november 8th, the defensive back from pierce, new jersey says he broke into the wrong house trying to get evening from the assault on his fraternity's president. people know all to well that parking in the city can be costly, and frustrating, now they are trying to give people a new way to pay, hopefully cutting back on tickets and towing. vernon odom is live with the details. >> reporter: rick this is indeed a major high tech innovation for all that drive if philadelphia and do their parking most of it at curb side, it should cut down on the nasty overtime parking

from the gomez deli, the robbery happened on north 9th street at 8:45 sunday morning, a 78-year-old man and younger man were in the store but not injured. both suspects fled on foot and one had on camouflage pants. a burglar in port richmond removed the side access doors to commit his crime, that allowed him into the basement, once inside he grabbed cigarettes. before the break-in on november 6th, surveillance cameras captured him got a good look at him. if you have any tipped call police on this one. a mississippi volunteer firefighter is learning to live with his new face, another person's tragedy gave him a chance at a transplant and some of this video may be a bit disturbing, pat was severely burned while saving a person back in 2001.

moving off the coast, continuing to give us a flow in off the ocean, more from a southerly direction, you'll wind up seeing a slight bump in temperatures, so we get up to 63, ahead of this approaching front and not as cool but still cloudy and on the coolish side. a sprinkle or shower in the eepg, some of this welling up on the model, but the big rain is on thursday as that front starts to push in from the west, and thursday looks like a soaker with some of us seeing an inch of rain and then probably an inch and a half in areas harder hit. future tracker 6 showing a sprinkle tomorrow night but the main rain holds off until thursday morning. the latest model run has some of the western suburbs already picking up quite a bit of rain and berks county and chester county are already getting pretty wet and the rest of us
