allentown 45 degrees. reading 45. reason caster 45. it's rare that you actually see milder temperatures north and west of the city but they actually saw a little subshine out here first thing during the morning hours and that warmed temperatures up. so it's actually cool schooler south and east than north and west and temperatures in low 40s we have a little breeze. so it feels cooler than actual temperatures you just saw there a second ago. fields more like mid 30s out. there ten miles an hour out of northwest now allentown and 15 in reading and 2349 philadelphia and 13 miles per hour in atlantic city. and all right there's tuesday nor'easter still spinning off coast of maine pushing east south of halifax. there is sunshine right there. western new york state, western pennsylvania, starting to see brighter skies. and it is shifting east. but unfortunately it doesn't look like it will arrive until the sunset s mainly cloudy skies rest of the way and you can see how slow of mover this was.

tuesday when we saw heavier rains with that nor'easter and wednesday, thursday, it actually would be loop de loop pulling out to sea and it moved a little towards west or backwards. that's what brought the snow showers thursday. again now it's starting to get up on its way. looks like we have one more afternoon here of decent amount of cloud cover. small sliver there 150 miles worth of clouds and south it's mostly sunny just to the west they're starting to pick up sun as well. surface maps look like this pacific high moving towards east coast that warms us up over the next three days and this guy right here runs spine of the appalachians west of philadelphia. which means it will drive in milder air. when this arrives it will be in the form of raib. future tracker actually shows this pretty nicely. this will be tuesday. so the rest of today will be cloudy out there. maybe a few peaks of sunshine and stays dry. monday, more sun than clouds, monday dry. tuesday afternoon some of this arrives late. probably four or five o'clock in the afternoon.

temperatures right now. 41 degrees. back here in philadelphia, dewpoint 3. winds shifting out of the southwest at 9 miles an hour. pressure rating 29.94". 45 allentown and 41 wilmington and 41 philadelphia and trenton showing 44. again a little breeze out of the southwest of philadelphia. mainly west, norm west though. north and west of city. 10 miles an hour allentown and 15 reading and 13 in atlantic city. so it's putting wind chills in the mid 30s this afternoon. satellite and radar we started out with a little bit of sunshine early this morning and as you can see here this is flocked in all this cloud cover to baltimore and d.c., we're stuck in the cloud cover and unfortunately not going anywhere. look how bad the forecast is butting. we have cloudy skies. this model future tracker says i should be completely sunny out there now. obviously that's wrong. so, this model is not having a very good handle on things right now. and later this afternoon, same thing it has mostly sunny skies

across the entire delaware valley. this shows you how one particular model may have a good handle on it and another may have a cloudsy handle on it and that's this guy here today. later this evening we should begin to see holes in the clouds and we'll go partly cloudy overnight tonight. and as we get into monday, monday actually does not look all that bad. we'll start with sunshine and then we'll increase clouds another system arrives. that arrives tuesday afternoon you can see the greens here across the western suburbs by 4:30 and just light shower activity really nothing more than that. this is not a huge rain maker for us and 9:30 a couple of lingering showers across the area and that clears and then wednesday looks pretty dry. getting into the weekend. what i did was a lot of people e-mailed me and asked questions about the forecast models we look at. i actually put one of them on the big board here. this is european model and widely regarded as one of the most accurate forecast models we look at 7 aeming sunday you see closed circle here he this is
