Hmmm... Matt Peterson is able to connect to Bruno from West Oakland. Also... yesterday and today we upgraded the software and hardware at the site.

Do you know what his iwconfig signal levels are? Does he get packet loss?
What's the new gear?

Not sure. I will ask about the quality of his connection.

As for software and hardware upgrades, the node is now running FreeBSD 5.1 that gets us a number of wins for stability for the node. The "hardware" upgrade was some aluminum foil tape around the the radio cards to try to midigate some of the interference they are causeing each other. In theory, we should be seeing some faster rates on this site now. I am going to play with this tonight.
