I watched Bogert and Appice at some show when they were with Cactus. They did an excellent performance. Besides their musical talent they both "performed", as in Bogerts unusual fingering method, and Appice's commitment to the rhythm.
When they finally got together with Beck I was very pleased.
Thanks for the reminder. I wish I could remember what else I saw.

I think it helps to be reminded. I just saw an ad that Phil is doing one of his things on recreating shows. This one is July 21 1974. I saw the date, realized I'd gone to it, and it just flashed through me. Who I was with. Where we sat. The drugs. The opening acts. The music. I think we don't forget. We just hide stuff away.

O got to see Bogert and Appice live in 1968 with Vanilla Fudge. They immediately became my favorite "rhythm section".
