Is there a general way to report spam in the archive? I happened to stumble across a large pile of "work at home" junk, using keyword spamming and so forth.

Just do a search across all media types for:
work home

There are a bunch of them.

Were there ones other than bliptv items? Thanks for the alert, I just nuked a swath in that collection.

Heh, a search for all the usual cliches turns up a bunch more of these archive spams. The first of these search terms are 100% hitters with nothing but spam:

online pharmacy:

cheap insurance:

mortgage refinance:

money fast:

MLM money:

easy money:

fast cash:

consolidate debt:

It might be useful if someone were to do a search of these terms every month or so to help clean out the archive. Unless of course you WANT a section dedicated to archiving various Internet scams over the years. :-)

Car loans and nike shoes are a much bigger deal around here.

Hm, a lot of those were from a huge wave that were supposedly removed, but it looks like the removal command didn't stick on a few. Thanks! Unless of course you WANT a section dedicated to archiving various Internet scams over the years. :-) I think that's part of the tucows collection. ;)

Thanks for cleanup of that search, but there are more deeper down.

Adding "money" to the search terms pulls a bunch more of these spams with better (worse?) results:
