I just uploaded a file via FTP and in my contributions it says: "No metadata describing files found. Waiting for user to enter metadata" which I thought I did already.

Hey there,

You'll need to edit the release, go into 'File Option', and click on it, then fill in the metadata details. Sometimes it'll take a few minutes after doing this for the file to advance in the queue. I just went and did it for you, though, so hopefully it'll go forward now.

Thanks,
Simon.

I keep completing the fields under "file options," and it tells me "updated successfully," but then the same error displays over and over. And, when I go back to "file options" the value I had just completed is blank. Will the changes be seen when it finally goes through the cue? Or will it not go through the cue until the metadata is fixed?

Thanks for your help -Michael

Hey there,

We're having problems with data sync-ing on our movies-uploads server right now, so unfortunately items can't be approved - so this isn't your fault. When it's fixed (in the next 24 hours, hopefully) we'll try to get everything approved without you having to do anything extra.

Thanks,
Simon.
