Two things about embedding: 1) Most blogging software replaces the newlines in the recommened embed code with line break tags. You must remove the newlines to get the embed code to work in WordPress and similar blog backends. 2) You can't embed video in these forums because the Internet Archive forum software re-writes the urls in the object parameters to be links with target=_blank.

Hello

Could someone please give an example of alterations to the flash embed code with wordpress.

I've tried it and it doesn't work. Also messes up the blog page formatting.

Figured it out. You don't need to add the embed code into a wordpress post. Only need the url link of the .flv video. Use the coolplayer wordpress plugin for example (which can embed and play .flv video). It will ask for http address of the video, use the videofile url which appears near the end of the embed code. eg. http://www.archive.org/download/thefilename.flv

Has anyone ever found a solution to embed the music player in other webpages? There is no direct url that I saw to use, how can this be accomplished? Thanks for your help.
