Your Netgear wireless AP should be set to obtain its IP address from the SFLAN node using DHCP.
You probably don't want your Netgear wireless AP to host DHCP for your local machines unless it is also doing NAT, instead you'd probably want to disable the AP's DHCP hosting if offered and allow the SFLAN's DHCP messages to pass thru to your local machines.
Also, You'll want to remember to update your security patches and install firewall software onto any machines you are using before you connect them directly to an SFLAN IP address which will expose them to the Internet.
For windows machines, I recommend the free version of zone alarm (ver 4.5) from zone labs.
