Since both my PC and android phone use Chrome then the problem could be Windows 10 new update. Not working on Edge either but my phone it saves favorites like normal. Though IA may be having internal problems with that option. Hopefully it works itself out and working soon. Otherwise I will use my phone to save items into my favorites.
