https cert is fine, eg:
https://items-uploads.archive.org/images/glogo.png
duno and prolly honestly "wontfix" for anything cert-related for FTP

then it jumped to http uploader - it does have known issues.

i think jason scott replied to try the `ia` python-based tool instead of FTP or HTTP. any traction there? also, i see huge files now (totally 114GB) across 7 items now on FTP staging server for a longplays account - all w/i last 24h. we good? :)
