Hey, I'm new-ish to the Grateful Dead, and I heard that the Spring 77 tour is one of their better ones along with the Europe 72 tour. I wanted to know what are the tour dates for Spring 77? And what are some of the other good tours the Dead did?

Man do you have a lot of great music ahead of you ! You are lucky to have this Archive here to sample almost any show . The 5/8 show, and the ones around it are highly regarded . You will see various dates tossed out there , but they were pretty consistent in all of May .
In the first half of their career the band was constantly evolving, with different styles, and band members changing the sound . It is worth it to explore, trying the better known shows for the various years .

Hey Sean, since you're new, it's understandable, but you must go back to 68.

Summer, December...fall too.
