yesterday was a holiday in the u.s. so all we had was features which signaled that the upside momentum was still there for u.s. stocks, even with some of the concerns about inflation in the fed pushback when it comes to the rate cuts. the environment for equities in particular and even for bonds is seen as being pretty reasonable come the soft landing hope remains in play. if it is not exactly the famous goldilocks environment, it is fairly close. there is also signs the bears are not hungry right now so a modest muted risk for assets and we had concerns about commodities, oil as you mentioned, we are also seeing metals up a bit, perhaps a sign that all of last week we saw most commodities come back down off some biggest spikes that happened in the lead up to that and it looks like they are now stabilized at the levels before the spike which is still elevated most uptrends are still in place so that retains that concern that is there that economies are little too strong and inflationary pressures are a little too strong
