i'm nicole valdez, fox weather. >> and remember all that inclement weather we experienced last week into the weekend. that was our storm that just affected them. and now this system that's working its way into our forecast is going to affect dallas, louisiana and oklahoma as far as the visibility is concerned for the totality of the eclipse on monday. so what happens here shifts east and south. and right now we're talking about pretty close to average temperatures for this time of the year somewhere below normal. some were at average. for example santa rosa was pretty close to normal. but yesterday we were at 77 degrees there. look at san jose now. that was pretty spot on for this time of the year. but all of this is going down. this is a look at our average high temperatures for the time of the year. now meanwhile, this is what we can anticipate for our thursday. we're not going to make it to 60 degrees anywhere. and right now we're seeing the leading edge of the trough. the front push into the bay area, several decks of cloudiness anywhere from 1100 feet to about 20,000ft. we currently

i'm nicole valdez, ktvu, fox two news. >> weather so calm compared to that. not even a sprinkle to speak of. mark >> yeah, we are enjoying this spring time weather pattern here in the bay area. finally right on the sync with the calendar, right? because a few days ago we had those cold temperatures, the snow and the sierra and just temperatures in the 50s. but temperatures have been warming steadily over the past few days, and probably today or tomorrow will be the warmest days of the week. you can see 70s and some 80s just a few days ago. remember on sunday we had those readings just in the 50s around a 50 to 55 degrees. so a nice recovery in the temperature department. here's a satellite, a lot of cloud cover offshore in the pacific. but all that is moving up and over a good portion of the west coast as we check out some scattered high clouds drifting in this afternoon, we'll continue to have maybe that filtered sunshine throughout the day. current numbers for the 12:00 hour is 90 degrees in palm springs, south lake tahoe 58 eureka up in humboldt county rig

in elkhorn, nebraska , i'm nicole valdez, ktvu, fox two news. here in the bay area, some gorgeous sunshine behind us along the oakland alameda estuary. rosemary thanks for changing soon, though, aren't they? we do have have changes coming our way. it looks like into the weekend as we get into the week ahead, we have only subtle changes with breezy conditions expected at times giving you a live look here outside our doors. another pretty start there over ocean beach. we've got blue skies, a little bit of a cool start to the day but not too bad. got golden gate park there in view as well. getting into the second part of the afternoon, temperatures will range from 60s at the coast and 70s inland. we do have a north and west flow out there that is expected to continue, even turning northeast at times, pulling back for you here and showing you that the pacific northwest does remain active. this is going to stick to the north, and we are going to have dry conditions through the business week. but it looks like things may change up in time for the week
