carl parker joins us live from the weather headquarters in atlanta. what has gotten your attention to warn folk who is are traveling? >> it has a trailing front with mostly lighter rain. there could be additional severe weather in the south, but not a lot of it today. we have a huge very intense storm that's come into the west. along with that very heavy snow and a tremendous amount of wind as well. blizzard warnings are now up, all up and down the i-15 corridor. i-80 as well. i-84 and 70. we have a report of winds gusting 53 miles an hour in salt lake city. that's enough wind to knock down power lines and that sort of thing. let alone create all kinds of problems on the roads. the snow is heaviest now back down to reno as well. very difficult travel across the midwest today. that will linger to early tomorrow on the backside of the storm. part of it comes to the middle of the country. could be severe weather in the midsouth. and tomorrow wet weather in chicago and also a wintery mix in minneapolis. could be delays at those two airports. then on turke
