Subject: Minor Error in Metadata
Its publication date (Date) in metadata appears as 1910-01-01 while the Prefatory Note in the book was written in Sep 1910.

The book itseld presents an interesting reading..

Subject: Hard reading, but interesting
The book has three useful sections: an overview of the plague and the sweating sickness, information on the 15th century printers of the book, and finally the "litil boke" itself.

The typeface and spelling in the facsimile are daunting - but it is not hand-written as the earlier reviewer stated. The book was printed with cast metal type, hand-set into frames.

The second half of this book is the reproduction of the "litil boke of pestilence". It is interesting to see the handwritten lettering!
