east of business 234 before you reach 29 centreville. moved off onto the right shoulder. lanes are open jammed from first manassas in that backup there's another crash moved over to the left shoulder. get beyond all of this you're okay into fair oaks and on to falls church. leesburg crash the ramp if the northbound -- from the northbound bypass to go east on the greenway. beltway outer loop got the crash out of the way between connecticut and 3r5 35. all the activity moved to the right shoulder. route 50 inbound slowest through 202 cheverly to get to kenilworth avenue. a report of a crash southbound kenilworth near borrows avenue. now the weekend forecast with howard. and you know beverly we're starting out the weekend on a pretty good not and it's certainly going to get cooler. today will be the mildest of the next three days and you're looking at nats park. this place will be rocking in about nine hours or so when the nats face the giants at 3:07 first pitch. 60s this morning a few 50s. 71 by noon. it's going to be a mostly cloudy day but mostly dry day.

quarantined. meanwhile, health officials in texas are reaching out to as many as 100 people who may have come in contact with the first person diagnosed with ebola on u.s. soil. thomas eric duncan exhibited the symptoms of the virus shortly after arriving in texas from liberia. the nation's largest bank is warning its customers that hackers may have stolen their personal information. jp morgan chase says thieves accessed the names, addresses phone numberser and mail aand are -- and e-mail addresses of close to 80 manager households and -- 80 manager households and 7 million small businesses. >> chase says there's no evidence that hackers took account numbers or social security numbers or passwords. general motors is recalling 117,000 vehicles from 2013 and 2014. the recall is related to a problem which caused the vehicles to stall or not even start. >> it involves the tahoe, suburban, traverse, express and silverado. the cadillac and gmc yukon and

through it and every team has injuries specific team has down times during the season. but they fought through them and you know they have a goal. and they're working hard towards it. >> reporter: you know ryan zimmerman made the comment not too long ago that basically in 2012 you know the guys kind of went in blind and five guys that had playoff experience going in. but to now be back here two years later, how much more prepared do you feel like the unit is? >> i think they're money more prepared. i think maturity level is there. you know that little bit of experience goes a long way. and we can get off to a good start you know today and i think things will start rolling for them but i think the first game everybody is a little more nervous than that it will calm down. but this group is ready to go. >> reporter: yourself included with the nerves right? >> oh, yeah. i've been crazy nervous the last few days and i want to get off to a good start today but these guys i think will -- will do well. >> reporter: you mentioned matt williams there. just talk about what he has meant i mean just the job he has done coming in as a rookie manager and taken the team as

far as he has so far. >> he's done a great job you know he said when we interviewed. i don't know everything. guys just let me know and i'm going to learn from my mistake takes and he has. and i think one day considered one of the great manager doves game and maybe as soon as this year. but he's done a great job. well respected in the clubhouse and well respected in the community. and i think that he's going to -- you know just -- he has a long ways to go to be -- to be just one of the best. >> reporter: but as far as -- with this being his first postseason experience there, what are you expecting out of him and the club here making this run starting tonight? >> you never know i take them one at a time and i'm sure he's doing the same. and it takes a lot of luck. you really look back over the years and you look at the records and so many of the teams that were favored to go all the way aren't the ones to win it. it's just -- it's amazing the luck and the good breaks that it takes throughout the playoffs and hopefully it will be our year for that. >> has the city buzzing. thank you very much for your

charter schools, and the need for jobs in the district. but the new poll released earlier this week by economic growth d.c. rlly had all them talking. that poll shows the gap between the candidates is getting smaller. it has bowser in first with 35%, catania in second with 27%. and schwartz in third with 11%. 27% are undecided. bowser did have a 17 point lead in a poll put out by the "washington post" last month. now of course, each candidate has their own take on the numbers. >> we have the best message because we have a record. we have the most progressive things that we have done over the last 20 years i'm proud to have been a champion of many of them. from marriage equality and smoke free d.c.. medical marijuana, cutting our rate of uninsured in half and the largest investment in the history of the city that's this year. i think people are responding to the message. >> we're going to stick to what people tell us on the doors out in the neighborhoods and at churches and grocery stores. they want a fresh start and they want a leader that's going

to bring down part of a brick wall. a long island, new york community is grieving the death of a high school football player. tom kutinella was 16 years old. >> the lineman took a deadly hit during a varsity football game on wednesday. and yesterday, hundreds of students, parents and teachers gathered on the football field at shoreham wading river high in suffolk county. in alabama, a 17-year-old died after collapsing on the field after a tackle on sunday and in north carolina, a boy collapsed a week ago during pre-game warmups. changing gears. the search is on this morning for some jayson werth gnomes. >> nationals' employees hid 100 of the little guys yesterday. and they were all over the place yesterday morning. wusa9 intern holly delossa found one right outside the station. again the close oversways -- cloudy skies over washington this morning with the potomac river over national. dew point near 60 a little humidity out there. the relative humidity at 78%. the highs today this is telling a story for the weekend because highs only in the 40s across areas if minnesota back into north dakota. chicago won't even get to 60 today and this cooler air is going to be moving south and east behind this front which stretches out all the way from the great lakes down toward the gulf coast with showers and thunderstorms. some of these have been on the strong side down in louisiana. but this rain is still several hundred miles west of us. our futurecast has a mild air in place. clouds mixed with some sunshine throughout the day today. but i think more clouds than sun perhaps a little bit more sun east of us. 3:00, western maryland, west virginia seeing the showers but the main front still by 5:30 about pittsburgh passing charston. we have a -- charleston. we have a ways until it gets here and hold off until 11:00, 12:00 tonight before we see showers into early saturday.

virginia 95, it's opinion volume delays -- been volume delays heading into dumfries and woodbridge and leaving lorton to get into newington. more volume 395 north a crash reported southbound near shirlington. another one down near duke southbound tying up the left side. take you to laurel. route 198 just west of i-95 is closed each way near sweeter lane. that is because of wires down as a result of an accident with a dump truck that overheight took down the signal wires. mike back to you. thank you beverly. another american is being flown to the united states from west calf to be treated for i -- africa to be treated for ebola. >> new revelations about the first person diagnosed with the disease here in the united states. nikki burdine is live outside the national institutes of health in bethesda with more on the ebola scare and the latest on it. nikki? >> reporter: good morning. yeah we know the american doctor who contracted the ebola virus in sierra leone is still being treated here at nih but there are two more people

coming to america or who are already in america who have the ebola virus. of course we know thomas duncan, the man who flew through dulles. connected there and then landed in dallas. he has the ebola virus. and then the latest diagnosis is a freelance photographer for nbc news. he was diagnosed after working if liberia. he along with his crew will be quarantined and treated here in the u.s. although it's not yet clear where. nih is of course a possibility for that treatment. meanwhile thomas duncan that dallas man with ebola is also in quarantine as is his family in dallas who have been ored to stay indoors in their apartment for 21 days, which is the quarantine period. the president of liberia by the way sid that he could face charges because he lied on filling out that form before leaving liberia. he said he had no come in contact with anyone with ebola when in fact he did. he helped transport a pregnant woman to the hospital who had ebola. that pregnant woman later died that man duncan also may have come in contact with about 100 other people. that on the flight when he

connected here and then to dallas as well as over sever people including -- several other people including his family members. they are of course all quarantined but united airlines voluntarily started contacting all the people who were on the flight. although the chances of them contracting the virus are very very slim, they still want to be safe as do health officials here in our area. >> it's possible that somebody could to maryland in the same way and potentially have ebola. so we need to be prepared for that. i think the likelihood that there will be a widespread outbraic in the united states similar to -- break in the united states similar to what's going on is very low. that's not likely. >> reporter: again, with the latest diagnosis of thing in news cameraman diagnosed with ebola while working in liberia, that brings the total to three americans here in the united states with the virus.

outside nih, i'm nikki burdine, back to you. police have a new lead in the case of the lyon sisters. the girls sheila and katherine disappeared from wheaton plaza in the spring of 1975. >> montgomery county police have announced a second person of interest now. richard allen welch the uncle of lloyd welch. lloyd welch is already a perp of interest. both men have ties to bedford, county virginia where investigators have been searching that area for clues in the case. >> there's people out here and these communities that know what happened back then. and that carry it with them today and it's their not only responsibility as a citizen, their moral responsibility to step forward. >> now police believe richard welch was a security guard in the wheaton area at the time sheila and katherine lyon disappeared. police would not answer questions though about his current location. except to say they know where he is. several celebrities are coming to washington, d.c. to

avenue right inside the beltway at jones bridge road. early this morning in the 4:00 hour, there was a call for a crash now we see that police activity in the area although it looks like that certainly under direction you can get through and more like jones bridge is going to be impacted by this issue. just inside the beltway. we check out the ride for 66 travelers and the beltway down at the wilson bridge. where the volumes building on the inner loop and oxon hill and crash was down on 210 near 373. making the trip on 66 eastbound that's been jammed out of manassas two earlier dent accidents are both out of traffic now before you have get to centreville out of the roadway. a mild note beverly in the 50s and 60s now and today will be the warmest of the next three days. plenty of clouds around but nothing on live doppler 9000 hd to share with you. as we look at the day planner by lunchtime, low 70s in town. a few upper 60s north and west. winds picking up out of the south southeast and by the afternoon gusting to 20 miles

the sign of what's coming our way. indianapolis is 67. behind the front chicago is in the up ears and into -- 50s and into northwestern iowa and minnesota, upper 40s and tomorrow night we're going to have a lot of temperatures here in the 40s and with even a few upper 30s. all thanks to this storm system and sort of see a little twist coming through chicago right now. little bit of an area of low pressure riding that front with the rain and the front itself extends down through tennessee now. it's approaching areas in eastern alabama and west georgia actually this line of storms ahead of the front. wind out ahead of this front are out of the south behind it, northwest and westerly. this is going to bring in that keeler shot -- cooler shot for the weekend. in the meantime high pressure in new jersey gives us a decent first half of this friday with clouds and some sun mixed but mild. again, 70s by lunchtime with highs in the mid 70s. shower threat, and i've seen other computer models that have this area of rain in cumberland at 3:00. more toward the blue ridge. so i'm hoping that you know we're staying a little bit slower here because the timing of this would work out
