rainfall a little bit of a break right now, sections of south jersey, also delaware, but the visibility, it's still greatly reduced across parts of the area, so just be mindful of that. live look outside of the studios showing you the damp and dreary condition, temperatures, low 40's. you factor in the wind feels like the upper 30's rain shower in philadelphia. we have 46 millville, 34 degrees mount pocono. 42 in allentown. and mid 40's in wildwood. so temperatures later on this afternoon, it depends on your location. 46 degrees the high mount pocono. look at dover, 66 degrees, and we're looking at 57 for the afternoon high temperature in philadelphia. mid 60s for atlantic. lauren? back over to you. >> scott let's get you breaking news out of south philadelphia where there are reports of a shooting on the 700 block of mckeen street, police say they found a man with a gunshot wound to the stomach he was transported to the hospital. ness stable condition. right now, there is no suspect

at this time >> we're tracking a developing story in old city, if you live, work or spend any time this week might be the time to make a great escape, demolition starts this week. fox 29 sabina kuriakose live at the scene this morning, sabina you were there a week ago. very different scene. >> reporter: absolutely but i do have to say it's not often one week after a fire, where you still have the somewhat active scene here, you see police cruisers with officers inside blocking off the road. you can see police taped up as well. especially where you have a fire where nobody was seriously injured. it speaks to the massive fire and damage. we know several buildings were destabilized. and that created a collapse zone. crews have been working since late last week to stabilize the

neighboring buildings around the main structure. that demolition of that building begins tomorrow. that's where firefighter were will the contain the bulk of the damage. it's also where at least late into last week, authorities worried about flare-ups and hot spots. now, again, demolition estimated to take about one week that we're told it could go longer. and during that, lauren, as you mentioned several road closures will be happening as well. about chestnut, between fourth and bank and up from south 3rd between elbow lane and walnut. dozens of people remain outside of their home and businesses are bracing for the economic impact >> it's one thing, that's ok, but i don't know what to do. >> it will be a problem. i'd say before we don't know that for sure yet. so i would like to stay possibly for the time being. >> reporter: out here live, a lot of the business owners that we spoke with very uncertain and

confused exactly about the future, about the foot traffic here as well. because again, we know that many people will be avoiding this area, while the demolition continues. over here, a little lions restaurant, we talked to the owner there, earlier he tells us he's anticipating being closed for at least two months. coming up in the next half hour, we'll talk about what he said he's trying to do, so his employees still receive a paycheck. the atf and the fire marshal's office still investigating the cause of the fire. also happening tomorrow, the parkland school district in lehigh county hopes to reopen. cancelling friday classes, flames broke out around 3:00 in south white hall. 25 school buss were completely destroyed including 16. that were completely gutted. >> my god.

we first brought you this to story yesterday, people who live in south philly pulled out cell phones to record a man driving recklessly down their street slamming into 16 parked cars of this morning, he's facing dui charges. this happened in the 2400 block of south 3rd street around 10:00 p.m. friday. some of those cars were push on to the sidewalk by his pickup truck. some were told loss while others just suffered minor damage, when his truck seemed to stall, several neighbors held him until police arrived. one neighbor described what he witnesses. he kept saying let me go. he definitely seemed to be out of it. in shock or, under the influence some of sort. could have been very bad situation. >> police have identified the driver as 43-year-old james kaiser who lived a few blocks away. wilmington, two people facing charges in the death of a 15 month old baby.

37-year-old la var harris pictured there and 22-year-old tamika wright is not pictured. police were called to the hospital for the death of a child. investigators learned the child's mother left the baby in custody of the pair. medical examiner ruled the 15 month old died from blunt force trauma. harris and wright were arrest on friday. police announced the first-degree murder charges yet. . i95 facing line closures and that starts tonight. pennsylvania department of transportation has announced that lanes will be closed from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. today through friday. the reason? the agency needs to test out transportation systems equipment along the highway. the locations affected will be between betsy ross bring, aramingo and cottman. you have the right to live. that's the message a local nonprofit want to bring. the group walking beautifully strong is hosting the event in

wleerping more about 35-year-old jessica ford, the tennessee woman accused of driving a fan into a security barrier around the white house, the secret service said this was first time ford had come into contact with agents near the white house, but he's been arrested several times for a number of criminal violations. it's the fourth time ford try oed t unlawfully gain access to the white house. but this time she was armed >> it didn't sound like a crash or anything, i turned around and seen the smoke and as soon as i saw that and police were starting to pile out of the back of the white house and from across the street and everybody is just screaming go, go, and that's when i told the kids, go.

contained. it did spread a bit next door, buildings new boarded up and there's heavy smoke and water damage to all the neighbors buildings on all three sides. so those buildings were destabilized, considering a collapse zone until late last week and the city has been waiting for those buildings to be stabilized before they can begin demolition. tomorrow, monday, again, that's expected to take about a week. and you can expect a lot of road closures up until then, we're talking chestnut between 4th and bank street, the whole block pretty much, and 3rd street up from walnut past chestnut. we spoke with owner of little lions public house, it's a busy restaurant, sustained a lot of water damage. he was just able to get in last week to figure out exactly what he was dealing with. let's listen. >> the latest was they said maybe two weeks that they will allow us to begin assessing damages and look inside, little bit more thoroughly. we reached out to the restaurant

community and all 40 restaurants responded and offered magnitude of jobs to our staff temporarily. which is remarkable. >> reporter: again, he said that he has been in touch with a lot of restaurants and businesses in the area, they have reached out do him, this community coming together to try to find his employees some work for the two months that the restaurant here is expected to be closed. you want to have a paycheck, so they can get through the aftermath of this fire as well. again, back out here live, demolition set to begin tomorrow. monday morning, right now, the atf and fire marshal's office is still investigating exactly what caused this fire. lauren? >> that's going to tough. i was there last monday, sabina, tourists were very confused. a young man recovering in the hospital after he was shot in the head in the frankford second of philadelphia. happened yesterday afternoon just before 3:00 on the 1700 block of scattergood street. 19-year-old was found by police

at the scene. he's in stable condition coworker surprisingly this morning, no arrests had been made. a new report says several broward county deputies waited outside of marjorie stoneman douglas high school instead of running in as a 19-year-old killer stacked the hallways. the allegations comes days after the school resource officer resigned. police say security footage showed deputy scott peterson failed to go inside the building during the shooting. 17 is innocent lives were lost when 19-year-old nikolas cruz opened fire. senior brandon could hear the gunshots from outside. when he got near the freshman building he saw peterson standing there pointing a gun at the building but never moved. >> you didn't do your job. you were trained for this, armed, had a bullet-proof vest. you were protected more than anybody else who died and lost their lives and you did nothing, you froze, got scared. you did nothing at all. you could have saved a lot of
