medic rush the woman to cooper medical center where she died. her husband died at the scene. white horse pike is back open after a deadly accident in berlin. three vehicles including a tractor trailer together a backhoe crashed just before 11:00 this morning on the eastbound lanes of the white horse pike at clementon road. two drivers the cars both men in their 60s were dead at the scene. a 55 year old woman who was passenger in one of the cars was taken to hospital. she's in critical condition. any time there's, you know, a crash that involves any fatality is obviously not something that we see every day. it's tragic that two people unfortunately host their lives and we have another one that's at a hospital with unknown status right now. >> the camden county prosecutor's office is investigating the crash. a sticky situation for drivers on i-295 in south jers jersey. tires covered in tar after a tractor trailer leaks asphalt on

to the highway. our dawn timmeney has the story from thorofare. >> reporter: the tanker belongs to tri-state transportation apparently the driver had no idea anything was wrong and made it all the way to baltimore. but for those impacted, it was an unsettling situation. >> felt like i got a flat tire,. >> reporter: vince of maple shade pulled over to see what was wrong. only to discover tar 3-inches thick caked all over his tires. >> the front tire, the front passenger was the worst that's where i get i hit it the harde hardest. but i couldn't i never seen anything hike that before. >> reporter: same story for this woman shortly after 5:00 this morning she thought she had serious tire problem. feeling like is he was losing control of her car. >> so i pulled over and that's when i seen there was just like all this glue this tar all over my car it was horrible. it was horrible. like high hard time staying on the road. >> reporter: it turns out tanker from tri-state transportation that had just pulled out of the refinery in

paulsboro was spewing liquid asphalt as it headed for 295 south. >> condensation got into the tank. the condensation and asphalt don't mix and it started boiling over. it grows almost twice the size. so had to go out somewhere. tri-state transportation clean up crews spent seven hours scraping up the gooey gobs of tar from a 15-mile stretch of road. by hand. general manager dave mains apologizing to drivers offering to clean up and repair any damage to vehicles caught up in the sticky situation. vince one of the first to bring his truck in to tri-state to get the tarry mess removed. he was worried he might need four new tires. >> saved me a thousand dollars. i'm happy with that. >> reporter: tri-state says it's heard from about 20 drivers so far and will do whatever is necessary to make things right. people can either bring their vehicles here to get the tar off

or the company says it will reimburse them. dawn timmeney, fox 29 news. three men are facing charges after investigators say that they tried to have sexual contact with minors. 28-year-old donovan early, 48-year-old joseph pee key and 30-year-old jonathan udo accused of talking to undercover detectives posing as 14-year-old girls. investigators say the men were talk to them online through text messages and even sent sexually explicit photos. early and pee key tried to meet up witness girls they thought they were talking to. all three are now charged with corruption of minors, criminal use of communication facility and other related charges. we're following breaking news tonight take a good look at this guy. police in upper darby say sherwood hargrove threatened to kill the conge grace of this church in drexel hill. officers say he is want the for terroristic threats. so if you see him, call 911. more cover rat pork land, floridaing school shooting a push for stronger gun roll

legislation started a wave of walk outs and protests about 100 of marjory stoneman douglas students boarded buses traveling 400 miles to the state capital to lobby lawmakers on state gun laws during a massive rally to be held tomorrow. the hash tag never again movement pushing to change florida gun laws which are some of the least restrictive in the country. >> everyone is paying attention now it's a huge call to action for anyone who has kids and anyone whose in school. >> we're not introducing new bills we can alter the ones that are currently in place. the school is scheduled to reopen for teachers on friday. students are likely to come back on a limited schedule next tuesday. meanwhile new jersey governor phil murphy and other state officials are talking to the public today about how they're working to try and keep students safe. some steps being taken are thorough review of the attorney general's office directive on school safety to make sure that policies are being implemented

consistently. but governor murphy says more work still has to be done at the federal level. >> let me be perfectly clear. nothing we are doing here can be a replacement for comprehensive gun safety reform at the federal level. including a ban on military style weapons, preventing those with mental he willness have having access to guns and instituting universal background checks on all begun sales. >> this afternoon president trump did sign a memo to take steps to ban bump stocks. they were of course used in the las vegas shooting. better do research before you head to the polls for pennsylvania's may congressional primaries. monday state supreme court ruling has dramatically changed the boundaries for congressional districts all across the commonwealth. our bruce gordon says that ruling could mean big changes in our area and he joins us in studio. bruce. >> iain, this is the map the court throughout. the democrat controlled court. drawn up by republicans in 2011 with said the court the goal of

unfairly helping the gop win congressional seats. look, if a state where the aggregate or total congressional vote is typically around 50/50 republicans with these boundaries consistently captured 13 seats to the democrats five. well, this is the new map okayed by the state supreme court and it promises big changes especially here in montgomery county. >> what's going on? >> somewhere near the upper salford township park sits the exact point in montgomery county where three different congressional districts meet. it's where we met michael and diane pines from telford out for a walk on this beautiful day. >> so you live in montgomery county and your current congressman is... [ laughter ] >> i thought you said these were going to be easy questions for god's sake. >> downplay blame michael. it sliced and diced montgomery county in five districts. in county with more democrats than republicans.

oh, and none of the u.s. reps actually lives in the county. >> i've seen the drawings of how it's been chopped up to accommodate certain parties. so i don't agree with that at all. >> the new map drawn by a stanford university professor and okayed by the pa supreme court would more or less give montgomery county its own member of congress. i spent way too much time trying to put together this puzzle of pennsylvania's old congressional map with good government advocate david thornburgh. >> this little beauty, that's the seventh. >> yup. >> seems perfectly compact and logical. [ laughter ] >> if you're on drugs. >> the weirdly drawn districts made it quite a challenge but finally -- >> what was so hard for that. >> reporter: as for the new congressional map i think it's better. it passes the common sense test. >> reporter: thor thornburgh says the process of redrawing boundaries left a lot to be designed. >> the court, the legislature, the governor back and forth, no transparency, no opportunity for citizen involvement. >> reporter: experts believe

the new map could result in anywhere from three to six additional democrat victories in pennsylvania come november. gop is crying foul. boundaries they say are to be drawn by the legislature. >> what we have here are liberals doing what they've always done. the left in many country tries to do that through the courts which they cannot achieve through the ballot box that's what we have going on here. >> reporter: expect a court challenge from the gop and soon. in the meantime with this new map in effect, some candidates for the may primary will find they no longer live in the district they hope to represent. iain. >> bruce, thank you. well in the wake of the deadly florida school shooting, students in our area are taking a stand saying no. kristyn? >> iain after some back and forth it looks like the eagles have settled on their new offensive coordinator. find out who

among the students protesting after the deadly florida school shooting several teens in south jersey we've heard it before children are our future. they're the ones who will make decisions when we're gone. but after last week' school shooting they don't want to bait. they want action now. and they're prepared to do what it takes for lawmakers to hear them for goodness sake. here's bill anderson. joaquin old oliver, elena petty. meadow pollock. >> it hasn't been even a full week since the latest school shooting in florida. so obviously the mourning process is still very fresh. >> i'm very astoned that i'm standing today with my peers and students and kids because this shouldn't happen. >> reporter: it may be too soon to tell in the aftermath of this latest shooting it's possible that we are seeing something different. >> kids are typically, um, expected to take back seat to what goes on in politics and

policy and what's going on right now it can't happen like that any longer. >> showing love and support for those injured and killed is expected. >> what may be different is that this rally took place in new jersey hundreds of miles from the shooting it was organized by high school students and they weren't just calling for thoughts and prayers. >> congress has done nothing. our state legislature is a majority of them are doing nothing. it's time that students everywhere across the country whether you're blue state, red state, speak up. >> on their own time a day off from school students organized in toms river, new jersey, and made it clear that this is just the beginning. they admit they don't have all the answers but they called us all out to do more. >> if we want to talk about gun legislature and we want to talk about mental health, then it needs to be a conversation that lasts more than five minutes. it can't be a conversation that you have on facebook and you debate and you argue and you post memes much that's not enough any more.

area. here's look at allentown if you liked today you'll love tomorr tomorrow. so how long is this warmup going to last. kathy' forecast in 15 seconds. ♪ in weather we're talking about record warmth again tomorrow. temperatures today well into the 60s and 70s. even in the poconos record right now it is still pretty warm there. the temperature 58. philadelphia 69. wilmington 69. 63 in millville and even down the shore temperatures in the 60s with that on shore flow a little fog down the shore as well. but look at the warmth to the west cincinnati 75. nashville seventy six after highs around 80. the cold is not that far behind it. you can see right here a cold front chicago 49. minneapolis only 19. 21 in desmoines we won't get

that cold but a piece of that will be moving in over the next 48 hours or so. so ahead of this front a surge of warmth. serious warmth temperatures running 30 degrees above normal tomorrow this front will be coming through and that will be changing everything as we work i was way toward the end of the week and even during the weeke weekend. let's go hour by hour. to night clear skies, areas of fog. will develop with a light winds once again we deal with that for the morning rush. then that burns off and the afternoon is great. by the evening period, seven, 8:00 o'clock we see a line of showers that will be moving through the delaware valley. and then temperatures will be on the decline with periods of rain on and off from thursday right through sunday as that front stalls to the south. thursday morning some showers then again sweeping through thursday evening. friday will be the same story. so overnight tonight, temperatures bottoming out in the 50s. really comfortable so that jump start us for tomorrow as we reach new records for the day. by the afternoon after that morning fog and drizzle, skies will be partly sunny just like

today and a few degrees warmer going for high of 75 in philadelphia. so here's the look at the numbers to beat. philadelphia the record is 72. i think we'll beat that very easily. reading 71. atlantic city 74 that's at the airport. trenton and wilmington 70. allentown the record 67 degrees. as you look ahead on the seven day forecast from the weather authority occasional showers thursday and friday. and saturday rain likely sunday and then we finally get rid of it. monday 56. tuesday 51. the end of the month will be pretty quiet and pretty seasonal with temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50's but tomorrow is the day. going for a high of 75 degrees. the record is 72 set back in 1930. kristen, i gave eight perfect ten you better get outside. >> i definitely will. i'll have to at this point kathy. eagles have zeroed on their next offensive coordinator. fine out who the familiar face is plus the flyers dealing with a laundry list of injuries. how they're working to overcome those next.

off season and made an immediate impact on the receivers this year. this will be his first time as coordinator in the nfl. despite being passed over espn is reporting staley is getting a title promotion to assistant head coach as well as his running backs coach title. the flyers injury list continues to grow moving forward, forward wayne simmons one of those -- leading scoressers from the flyers is out two to three weeks with an upper body injury. another goaltender is out as michael is sight lined for four to six weeks with a lower body injury. he joins brian al elliot recovering from core muscle surgery out for at least a month. the head coach says it's tough but it is time to move on. >> go through all kinds of different adversities through a season and injuries are part of it. everybody goes through them and we're no different than anybody else. so we continue on our pathway and, you know, worry about getting ready for our game tonight. the flyers host the canadiens
