past couple of days and wet snow. >> reporter: you remember we had a decent snow in the weekend in march, so it can happen. this will be wet snow, right now on storm tracker 6 live it's rain across areas west and southwest, cool enough rare being drown in by a coastal storm that could change tomorrow. we have a flood watch north andd east, a coastal flood watch down the shore, there's the winter storm possibility, as well at the tail end of this later tomorrow. coastal flood watch in effect this evening, to saturday evening. all the coastal counties could see problems there, especially in the tidal areas, flood watch tonight into friday night, philadelphia to montgomery county, areas north through the lehigh valley and toward the east. there's a high wind watch that has been extended across the entire region all the way up to the northern border of the

poconos friday into saturday where wind gusts at times could be 50 miles per hour bringing down tree branches and pushing things around on the roadways. the winter storm watch for the poconos. terms 45 degrees in philadelphia. starting out cool, but overall not too bad. as we go through the morning we do get fairly mild. 54 degrees by noon. 58 around 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. looks like rain holds off until 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., gains in intensity tonight. karen rogers we'll show you this on future tracker 6, we'll show you the change to snow and how much we're expecting on the ground when it is all said and done. >> reporter: let's look outside and check the schuylkill expressway. we can see construction cruise on the schuylkill expressway westbound right lane at south street. watch for that heading out. eastbound the on-ramp from 30th street is blocked, as well. overnight construction should wrap up in half-hour.

looking at the big picture, speeds on the schuylkill expressway are okay. construction will slow you down. blue route moving fine, 55 miles per hour and i-95, not a big problem there. in old city avenue chestnut street remaining blocked. fairmont park lincoln drive southbound, blocked for overnight construction wissahickon avenue and ridge avenue. stick to schoolhouse lane and midvale, instead. burlington bristol bridge, traffic moving fine, because the overnight construction is cleared. >> thank you, karen. breaking this morning, the action cam is live at the scene of a house fire in delanco burlington county. the fire broke out on hickory street after 3:00 a.m. when crews got to the scene they found fierce flames coming out of the twin home. two people were injured, they have taken to the hospital. we don't know their conditions at this time.

police are investigating a deadly shooting in west philadelphia. the gunfire erupted along the 4400 block of holden street. someone gunned down a 34-year-old man after 7:00 p.m. the man later died at the hospital. also new, police are looking for the gunman who shot a man in the face in the city's frankford section. investigators are on the scene overnight along the 1500 block of ruane street. one vehicle was damaged by a bullet. mri police say a 27-year-old -- police say the 27-year-old victim had a weapon in his possession. officers return after students return to marjory stoneman douglas high school two weeks after gunman claimed 17 lives. grief counselors and therapy dogs were on campus to help students ease back into their

to. jeanette reyes is live at evesham township police with more on the story. >> reporter: good morning, tam, this plan was in the works long before the massacre in southern florida, the police chief saying the goal to have someone trained and armed to neutralize a threat should it prevent itself and save lives. while the gun control debate intensifies, one police department is taking matters into its own hands. evesham township is recruiting former police officers to place them in facilities. >> their primary goal is to neutralize the threat, address the shooter and protect the children and staff. >> reporter: applicants have to meet a list of reqirements. the candidate must be retired no longer than three years and go through state mandated training
