investigating a late-night shooting at a bar in west philadelphia. it happened at the west side tavern at 6 on the and market street at 10 -- 60th and market street at 10:00 p.m. no word on the condition of the victim or what led to the gunfire. firefighters are working to determine what caused a fire that spread to two homes before it was contained. chopper 6 hd above the fire in south simpson street around 10:30 p.m. it spread to two homes before firefighters got it under control. no injuries were reported. chopper 6 hd above a two-alarm fire in norristown, montgomery county. it took two hours to bring the fire under control on the 500 block of nobody was hurt, investigators are trying to figure out how it started. >> 6:10 a.m., registration is open for a chance to race in the

back everyone, 6:23 a.m., saturday morning, forecast for today. decent start. philadelphia, 34. a bluster and cold high of 23 in the poconos. shore, 35. it stays dry, we're tracking a low pressure that will bring one to three inches of snow in the minneapolis today. that will slide through tomorrow. increasing clouds ahead of it. as we head into sunday, most of the moisture sits on top of us. for super bowl it will be raining heavy after 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. we're tracking cutter-type systems. areas of low pressure they develop out flue -- through here and develop in the coast and in order for them to travel in, the

low has to drop to the south. as the low tracks to the north. the winds are out of the south this is mild, this is rain. as we head into next week. this storm develops out of the gulf this will cut west of philadelphia. this means winds are out of the south. wednesday's system is rain. if you're a snow lover, what you want to see is the low hit the coast like this, the winds are out of the north that locks the cold air in that brings us snow not rain. that doesn't look like the case over the next ten days. it next systems look like rain not snow. >> that's what we want to hear. it's all about super bowl of course one day before the big game. >> sixers game was filled with cheers for the eagles. here's jeff skeverski. >> reporter: so what's the celebration going to be like if the eagles win the super bowl? receiver alshawn jeffreys scoffs

to the poconos and the northern portion of the lehigh valleys. everybody else will see a cold rain as temperatures which are cold now climb into the 40s by tomorrow afternoon. 15 in reading. 18 in philadelphia. ten in millville. 15 in trenton. 5 in the poconos. just about everybody in the single digits when you start factoring in the winds. the winds are not as strong as yesterday. yesterday we had gusts 30 to 40 miles per hour. this morning we're seeing winds more like 5 to 15 miles per hour. the winds are not as strong, but the temperatures are colder. that's why the feels-like temperatures are so bad. philadelphia five, reading, 8. allentown, 3. look at the poconos, 12 below at this hour with the wind. satellite and radar showing cloud cover approaching from the west. this will continue to roll on east over the next several hours. sunshine to start, increasing clouds during the day. that's the call from accuweather, hour by hour, lots of sunshine through the late morning hours into the first part of the afternoon. we'll see high, thin clouds first and lower and thicken by

so, tickets to the game are the most expensive of any super bowl in the past decade according to stub hub. that's due in part to strong demand from our area. stub hub said the biggest chunk of tickets are being sold to people in pennsylvania made up 1% of sales. folks in new jersey, 7%. the going rate, $5,300. the cheapest ticket to get inside, $3,100. >> as you can imagine keeping everyone safe from the players to the fans it's a difficult job, that's where the latest in technology comes into play. sharrie williams takes a look at what's being used to insure safety at super bowl lii. >> this is a large x-ray device on wheels. >> reporter: this large contraption is used to inspect vehicles and containers. it's part of an elaborate

winds out of the west at 11 miles per hour. that gives us a current windchill of 5. temperatures are 15 to 25 degrees colder than yesterday. the high came around midnight which was 40. it fell all day. the afternoon high was 28 or 29. quite the opposite this morning. colder temperatures were in place climbing this afternoon. 18 in philadelphia. 15 in wilmington and trenton. ten in millville, five degrees in the poconos. satellite and radar no cloud cover across the mid atlantic. clouds across the west they will be increasing during the day, they will stay dry all the moisture which you're seeing on the modeling this will stay west today strolling in after lunchtime tomorrow. snow is flying to the north, and rain to the south. you saw how low the rain/snow line is you saw how far south it was, with no high pressure to lock the arctic air in, this low as it comes north, the cold air retreats north into canada we

see milder air overthrow the coastal plain. what initially starts at snow will quickly flip over to rain. it's a cold soaking rain for everybody throughout the duration of the event. tomorrow morning, testers -- temperatures are by 9:00 a.m. above freezing. 36 in philadelphia. light snow in the lehigh valley and the poconos initially that changes to rain up there, as well. 5:00 p.m., the only place that's snowing is probably the poconos and points north and west. everybody else, it's a cold soaking rain. you see a lot of yellows that indicates a lot of moderate to heavy rain. by the time the game is coming to an end, rain shut off, colder air comes in, temperatures fall through the 30s and eventually into the 20s sunday night monday morning. super bowl planner pregame party, rain, 43. during the game, more rain 42.

hopefully time to celebrate, cloudy skies rain stops, tempts are falling from 40 degrees, windchills more than likely are in the 20s. the snowfall totals look like this. rain for 95% of the viewing area. perhaps a coating to an inch allentown north. in the poconos it's 2 to 4. let's assume you get a coating to an inch in the lehigh valley. this washes away very, very quickly as it changes over to a cold rain here. the only location that has a problem with the snow more than likely will be the poconos. sun and clouds, cold, 34 degrees, cloud sciet overnight tonight, cloudy skies overnighter tonight. tomorrow, cloud skies rain, 44.
