how far will they -- >> chris: no. i think they'll drop below ohio state, michigan state and nebraska. if they don't, i think they should with two losses. and i think notre dame is going to be punished for their win. >> sean: well, we asked you to predict who you think the top four this coming -- at the end of the season, the four teams that are going to wind up in it. >> chris: i'm going to drop notre dame out. this is going to change every week. i had them in before the notre dame game. i had them in, but i didn't know what they were going to do against navy. >> sean: they won. >> chris: doesn't navy's not ba. >> chris: you're going to tell me that the 49-39 win over na navy -- to me, that's a bad win. >> sean: you are going to leave the other three? >> chris: i'm putting alabama in. michigan state would be my second one in. and that's going to be eliminated next week between ohio state and michigan state,
11:31 pm
because one of those guys are going to develop out with the two losses. >> sean: i would put alabama ahead of notre dame, because it's supposed to be who are the four best teams and if you ask me, if alabama played notre dame, who would win, i think alabama would win. todd, what say you? >> todd: he really jumps ship quick on a team. >> sean: it's kind of the theme of the night. th >> todd: i'll throw tcu out because they only won by a couple of points today -- no. i agree with what you said earlier, chris, alabama is getting hot at the right time. tcu's got to continue to get better, obviously, a tough place to play today in west virginia. they were able to get the win. a little bit inconsistent on the defensive side. they have been all season long. i think if they can improve and become more consistent on that side, they've got a chance to get there. it's going to be interesting between the big 12 and the big ten when it's all said and done and then throw in notre dame,
11:32 pm
also well. if there's two s.e.c. teams and you've got florida state, what happens between those other conferences? >> chris: well, for me, the differences between the big ten and the big 12, todd and sean, is, big ten plays a conference championship game. and i think in the commit teal's e committees eyes, they might hurt the big 12 because they don't play that extra game. i think that's going to be a quality win that might be enough to jump, if you have two one hoch loss teams, one from the big 12, one from the big ten, the extra win in the championship game might be enough to jump. >> sean: michigan state is a one-loss team, the only loss at oregon, in good position perhaps to be one of the four, they lose in the conference championship game to a one-loss nebraska or wisconsin or somebody. >> chris: nebraska's a good team. they are kind of flying under the radar.
11:33 pm
>> sean: the knee injury apparently to ameer abdullah today isn't considered to be all that serious. bo pelini is cautiously optimistic that about their bye week next week he'll be able to play in a very big game in the big ten west at wisconsin. in two weeks. to me, those are the two best teams in the west. minnesota got exposed last week -- >> chris: losing to illinois. >> sean: they're decent, not great. they have a very tough schedule the rest of the way, minnesota. >> chris: the other important thing fans need to know, injuries do go into the decision. and -- for example, if nebraska wins the big ten championship and a player, you hope it doesn't happen, but if ameer abdullah can't play or the knee injury's serious, then they'll look at it and that would give the tie breaker to a one-loss big 12 team if nebraska would win the big ten championship game without amere about bull la. >> sean: you don't -- there's cardale jones for the second

time this year leechi ileaping defenders. we saw him do it a couple of weeks ago against maryland when he got in in spot duty after a rout. he might want to go out for the track and field team here as a hurdler. this is the play against maryland, october 4th. right over anthony nixon. >> chris: he can run over you, run around you. or run through you. >> sean: by the way, to get back to abdullah, i think he's the most valuable player in the big ten, our discussion earlier, just because bosa, all those michigan state guys you mentioned, you take one of them off these teams, they're still really good teams. you take abdullah off that nebraska team, that's a huge loss. >> chris: huge loss for nebraska. he's special. >> sean: under 1:30 to go now.
11:35 pm
ohio state on the verge of making history, it will be their 20th straight big ten regular season win, matching the all-time conference record that the buckeyes set back in 2005 through '07. pacific life game summary. more big offense for ohio state. their fifth game with 50 or more points, leading the country. and on defense. we talked to urban meyer yesterday, chris. he said, you know, i'll take giving up some occasional big plays in the passing game, though they've done a great job lately in cutting down those, in exchange for pressure, attacking defense that leads the league in sacks and takeaways, interceptions, tackles for loss, those sorts of things and that's the kind of defense that they're playing. forcing their opponents into mistakes. >> chris: the big reason that changed was the orange bowl and the screens drove him crazy with clemson. he made the decision that would
11:36 pm
never happen again. >> sean: ford wrapup coming up with chris cotter. before this big ten season even started, there was much anticipation for november 8th and the possibility of a huge meeting between ohio state and michigan state and east lansing. and that's what we will have. both of those teams will be undefeated in conference play and with one loss overall as they go head-to-head next saturday night on abc. the buckeyes win their sixth in a row, undoubtedly will move up from the 16 spot with a couple of teams ahead of them losing. the question is, how far? 545 yards of offense for ohio state. michigan state enjoying a bye this week. final score is 55-14. thanks for joining us. for chris spielman, todd mcshay and our crew, sean mcdonough, so long from columbus.

11:38 pm
but after review, it was ruled that he fumbled into the end zone. treadwell would have to be carried off the field on a cart and auburn recovered in the end zone and they would go on to win. ole miss has lost two in a row. georgia at florida. in jacksonville. the embattled will muschamp, can he finally have a good day? florida ball carriers had a great day on the ground. kelvin taylor. that's fred taylor's kid. he would have a great day. gators, 418 yards rushing. they win it 38-20. oregon taking on stanford. fourth quarter, oregon leading 38-16. marcus mariota steps up, finds kerrington. keeps his feet inbounds. oregon, no problem. in progress right now in the pac-12, ucla on their home field, trailing arizona, 7-3. that game on espn. and arizona state, another one of those one-loss teams right
