resignation. >> she believed it was to the best interest of the agency of which she dedicated her career. pierson was on the hot seat at capitol hill, as lawmakers from both parties blasted the secret service how they handled the security breach at the whitehouse. >> this is disgraceful. >> omar gonzales, a homeless iraq war veteran jumped the fence and made it all the way to the east room. this prompted growing concerns about the secret service, pierson was the head of the agency for just 18 months. lawmakers called for her resignation. >> i don't see how she can make the changes necessary in this position or how she could stay in this position. >> it's incident on september 16th was the last straw, president obama was visiting the

8 hours, some quiet and my son can get quality sleep. >> the department of transportation has been in contact with the family and provided them with a construction schedule and most of the construct is during the daylight hours. eva pilgram, channel 6 "action news." a 25-year-old man is arrested for the hit and run of a 7-year-old girl, jamar banks accused of hitting and dragging the girl in mantua, she remained hospitalized with a fractured skull and broken ankle. awi witness was able to capture clear video at the scene. two police officers are on the other side of law with drunk driving offenses stemming from an accident last month. they were off dutdy driving on

carmel road, mcloughlin lost control and slammed into the ukrainian catholic church and both men were thrown from the vehicle and both tested positive for elevated alcohol levels after the crash. philadelphia police say they caught the man that stabbed a man to death in east mt. airy. police say that a 54-year-old man was stabbed multiple times and medics rushed him to the hospital but he died a short time later. for unknown reasons the suspect returned to the scene of the crime and that is where police arrested him. so far no charges were filed. investigators released video of an armed robbery, and hopes of catching the gunman on 1600 block of baltimore avenue and cobb's creek. the suspect walked in at 9:30 a.m. and approached the counter

at work and the man got a handful of cash and ran off. fortunately the clerk was not hurt. from the delaware newsroom, the men wanted for allegedly pulling off four burglaries in dover, all within an hour. 60 minutes. surveillance video linked norman young and christopher robertson to the crime spree last thursday. it allegedly smashed the front door of each business, elite liquors and china king were some of the businesses. a busted water main is causing traffic delays and problems tonight for residents in upper ambler county. chopper 6 hd was over butler park where they were digging up part of the street, they shut off access to the road in spring garden, with a leaky water line at a nearby home.
