seen as best running back in the league and he won't play this sunday because he now stands accused of child abuse. it is friday night and the big story on "action news" tonight is the indictment of adrian peterson of charges of reckless child endangering. a grand jury accused peterson of using a switch or tree branch to whip his son. the branch caused welts open the boy's legs, buttocks and again tallies. peterson's lawyer says adrian is loving father that used judgment to discipline his child the way he was disciplined by his father. peterson is cooperating with authorities. he has been benched for sunday's game. >> also, tonight, nfl player's un yoon greed toe sweeping new drug policy the terms include holding off on immediate discipline and after a dui arrest and two-game suspension upon conviction for marijuana they'll double the level allowed in testing and players that

wreckage and rush him to cooper university hospital. and this all started at 7:45 tonight as you can see, the violent collision knocked bricks out of the corner of a building. police recovered the body of a man that disappeared in the delaware river late today. the victim wept for a swim near the walmart on columbus boulevard and wentz under at 5 p.m.. his name has not been released. this is the last night that neighbors will have to look at a 16-story eye sore in the germantown section of philadelphia and immotion will bring down the 59-year-old queen lane apartments tomorrow morning. immotion live on "action news" tomorrow morning and follow up dates on twitter with hash tag ql immotion. and guilty as charged. that was the verdict today in kidnapping and sexual assault trial of christina regusters in philadelphia and "action news" reporter sharee williams is live at the criminal justice center tonight, sharee. jim, convicts on all six counts regusters trembled in court today each time she heard the world guilty. prosecutors say they could not have done this without the bravery of the now 7-year-old survivor also they say they could sfrot done with without a key piece of evidence, talking bird named marty. it took only 6 hours for a jury to convict former daycare worker christina regutters and they concluded this was her a then 19-year-old who wore a muslim disguise to gain access to the child's kindergarten class at philadelphia's bryant elementary it was january 2013 police say

regutters took the young girl to nearby house, sexually assaulting her during a 19 hour ordeal keeping the girl naked under a bed. the detectives say she tried fool the 5-year-old into thinking three people were involved instead of one. >> she fed her information about this alleged man including showing her a picture on her cellphone. there's absolutely no evidence to suggest that that man ever existd a day later regusters left the girl alone after dark dressed only in a tee shirt. police later closed in on regusters with the little girl's help. >> the child miraculously was able to identify this home from the back stairway and knew there was a bird. >> this is marty the bird videotaped by police inside regusters home after she was arrested. police say this is a closed case. but regusters lawyer believes others are involved. >> i don't think she had the capability of coming one a
