murderer. brandon howard a career criminal was take and into custody after a massive manhunt, it's believed he killed three people and assaulted people at a nearby motel 6 where he was hiding out and he has an extensive criminal record and would have continued his crime spree if he had not been caught. david muir will have more on the kansas city crime spree and more on isis. you can watch that following "action news" at 6:00. a lynnwood, new jersey, soccer player injured in a crash over the weekend has died. aiselynn cook was one of the players on the way to a fundraiser when the truck crossed into their lane. it's not clear if the driver of the other car will be charged.

matthew miller, the man accused of slashing bensalem officer will go to trial. authorities say he attacked the officer with a knife when he tried to arrest him back in june. police say he then stole the officer's patrol car and was arrested sometime later. he was wanted for escaping from the county jail. a law enforcement sweep ended with suspected drug dealers off the streets of reading. detectives executed warrants this morning and 40 people were taken in in handcuffs. investigators are still looking for 15 more people tonight. police are looking for a gun toting shoe shopper that targeted a payless shoe store last month. this video shows the female

suspect, authorities say she picked up a box with shoes and put a demand note inside of it, the clerk found the note and the suspect allegedly flashed the handle of a gun and the suspect walked out with cash. a florence township mother that drove her children into the delaware river is indicted for attempted murder. it was back in april when joanne smith intentionally drove her minivan into the water with her three children inside. a good samaritan pulled the children for safety, smith is currently being held on $600,000 bail. we have an update for a story that "action news" brought you last week, nine people are now charged with vandalizing a field usinged by middletown high school. authorities say that most of the suspect go to lower town high school, a rival school in the

area, they caught the culprits spray painting the track. the entire track has to be replaced for $100,000. >> a new law in philadelphia is accommodating mothers in the workplace for breast feeding. mayor michael nutter has signed the billed to, that requires a separate room for mothers to breast feed or pump breast milk. >> as parents our first priority is to care for our families. they can provide nourishment without stress or fear. six in ten women without infants are either working or looking for work. philadelphia became the first city in the u.s. to legally protect a woman's right to breast feed outside of her home. >> another check of the roads

it's tolerable to be outdoors for an extended period of time. as we look at the accuweather live lineup. the change that pushed into last night with a cold front and the high temperature today, 85 degrees and 3 degrees above normal and yesterday we were 93 and the morning started mild at 73 degrees, your records are 51 and 100 degrees, right now 83 allentown and trenton 82 and wilmington 81 and a bit a sea breeze at the shore and temperatures between 78 and 79 degrees, 24 hour change in philadelphia compared to yesterday it's 10 degrees cooler and 7 to 8 degrees cooler in the north western suburbed. the front is off to the coast in the south and high cloud cover that is streaming from the southwest much of the day today
