edwards. karen rogers is back, filling in for david murphy. hey karen. >> reporter: good morning, we're looking at storm tracker 6 live double scan, we have a couple of showers and sprinkles touching down in delaware and south jersey. we're seeing what's going on in baltimore right. the movement of that is slowly inching its way around the region here. we have a chance for a shower or thunderstorm at any point. some of these storms could be gusty or severe. that's why we're watching them so closely. 75 degrees in philadelphia. 72 in allentown. it's warm and muggy. 73 in wilmington. 670 degrees even on the boards this morning in ac. and as we look at the dewpoints you can see they are in the upper 60s in philadelphia. but already 70 in some locations, 70 is what we consider oppressively humid, today is a hot day, humid day, high of 91 degrees we're

watching for gusty thunderstorms coming through, especially later on, more details in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast tam. >> thank you, karen. and we continue to follow a breaking news story out of montgomery where dozens of people were forced out of their homes due to a serious odor reported after 7:00 p.m. in skip pack township. officials are not clear what they are dealing with. some residents are taking shelter in a local elementary school. katherine scott has the very latest. >> reporter: good morning, tam, authorities are trying to determine what this chemical is, they collected samples. they were taken to the lab for further testing. around 100 homes in this development in skip pack township were evacuated. emergency crews and investigators have cleared out, but we're expecting crews back on the scene, the fire

department, county haz/mat and dep and epa are working to locate the chemical. it appears to be coming from the sump pumps. a strong or doe was reported at 5:45 from a house, the skip pack fire department responded with the meters and the meters went into alarm in the basement of the initial home. >> as soon as i walked into the house, my meter went into alarm telling them we had high readings, we check each attached house, we kept getting readings and we kept going basically this entire development most of the houses have some sort of reading in it. >> reporter: back live on the scene, 100 homes were evacuated. there are noses on the doors, township is asking residents to

>> new york city city police say a subway train killed a woman as she fumbled for her ipad. she was leaning over the tracks looking for her ipod when she was hit by the train. she was pronounced dead ten minutes later. a parent so moved by a georgia toddler's death in a hot car conducted his experiment. it is crisscrossing the internet. he has three kids and wanted to know what it would be like to sit in a hot car. he sat in the car for ten minutes and began shooting the video. he said he could only imagine what he was strapped into a car seat muffle like. >> i would never -- must feel
