u.s. employers hired at a healthy pace last month. the labor department says 217,000 jobs added in may, putting the average for the past three months at 234,000 of the latest report is a milestone for the economy of the u.s. finally regained all of the jobs lost in the downturn during the great recession nearly five years ago. a renovated house in mount airy with a different milestone for mixes abandoned property. this house was finished, it marks the final property in the state's blighted conservatorship act. turning around neighborhoods one vacant house at a time. and things are happening at the shiply school in montgomery county, breaking ground on a commons and art center facility. the 26,000 square foot center with performing classrooms and

along the beach. not a lot of folks on the beaches right now, but i think plenty will be heading there tonight and tomorrow. the weekend will really be spectacular. now the temperatures a little on the cool side this time of year. the normal high 80 degrees. philadelphia currently 76 degrees. allentown 74, millville 75. notice along the beaches because we have the wind out of the northwest it is a land breeze, not a sea bree breeze. and lancaster 74. and the dewpoint around 50 degrees. it is very dry air mass and we have breezy conditions out there as well. a very comfortable day. stormtracker live double scan showing nothing going around here. that's because we have this very broad high pressure. it is building in over the weekend and it will bring us a lot of sunshine. this will protect us from what's going on to the south. there are two areas of severe weather. one right now through the tennessee valley and the deep south.
