. today the parents of anne mccann will meet with police about the case. darnel kinlaw was never implicated. she ran away from her virginia home on halloween. police ruled the death a suicide. but her family never believe that. darnel kinlaw was never implicated in the death and he and others were charged with taking the teen's volvo discovering her body in the back seat and putting it by

faces charges. she got into a fight with another woman sunday. the two were allegedly fighting about a cat when police records show nickolson stabbed the woman. the woman was taken to johns hopkins can for treatment. baltimore city officer shot by a county officer is expected to survive. the investigation on pine cove avenue in odenton started off on a search warrant on drug charges. vernon jackson was taken into custody outside the home. police seized 27 pounds of marijuana and another,000 dollars cash. officers went inside and that's when the shooting started. >> it appears once the intruders were inside the residents at a certain point a weapon discharged from one of the task force officeers from baltimore county that discharged striking one of the officers on the task force from baltimore city. >> police are investigating but county police say it locks like the shooting was probably --

the stage has been set and the bleachers are up and you can see the draping and there's a sign that says baltimore is a great place to grow. this is the second oath for the mayor. the first time she was sworn in, it was in january 2010 shortly after mayor dixon resigned after being found guilty of embezzlement. rawlings blake was a city council president and automatically second in line for the mayor. today she was elected and an easy victory for her during the election. and this will be her first time serving a four-year term as mayor. the mayor -- the ceremony will get underway at 11:30 a.m. this morning. they are expecting a lot of people and elected officials to come down. many people from the community are as well. it's expected to get underway at 11:30. it will take place rain or shine. if it rains everything will be moved-side to the war memorial building. corinne redman, abc2 news.

morning for the grand opening at 8 a.m. live in locust point, linda so, abc2 news. looks like amandan knox could ink a book deal and hired a washington, d.c. attorney barnett who brokered major book deals for former president bill clinton and george w. bush and sarah palin. amanda knox is back after being cleared of murdering her roommate in italy. caught on tape this morning, a would-be robber didn't get money from a store clerk but got a sandwich, a knuckle sandwich a man armed with the knife yelled demanding cash and he punched the would be robber twice and the clerk was stabbed in the chest and the man ran away without taking anything. the clerk received four titches but -- stitches but is back at work. burger king fries are get agnew taste. they say the new fries feature a thicker cut of potatoe giving each bite a more fluffy potatoe flavor on the inside. in honor of the new fries,
