america. another texas nurse has been fected with the deadly virus. >> we have just learned what she was doing the day before her diagnosis. a lot of news coming into our newsroom today. flew on a front airline flight from cleveland to dallas on monday. on tuesday, she developed a fever and overnight got confirmation she tested positive for ebola. >> no one wants to get this right more than our hospital. the first to diagnose and treat this insidious disease. showed symptoms of a bullet by midnight, preliminary reports confirmed she had the deadly virus. -- symptoms of ebola.

today, officials tell us she treated thomas eric duncan during his 11 day stay at the hospital. >> the health and safety of our employees remain our highest priority and we will continue to coordinate with officials to meet the challenge that ebola presents to our hospital come our community and our country. >> this unsettling news comes as the nation's largest nurses union alleges there were no safety protocols at the hospital while duncan was being treated. the liberian patient had projectile vomiting. >> we are a hospital. the mayor of dallas warns there are obstacles ahead. >> the only way we are going to be this -- beat this is person ,y person, moment by moment detail by detail.

police received a several 911 calls from passengers on board thing there was a disturbance. >> people were being physically harmed. >> the bus pulled over into a construction zone and flagged down a state trooper working there. as the state trooper approached the bus, the suspect in passenger were engaged in a physical altercation. the suspect was armed with a cutting instrument. he refused to put down the advancing then began to the officer. it was then that the trooper responded. assessed --er off thend deflected pavement and hit a witness. two others on board were also stabbed.

>> the competition between google and amazon is growing. google plans to expand its subscription shopping service. google launched the service in manhattan and california one year ago. they will expand the service to chicago, boston and right here in d.c. whole foods starting to rate its produce. fruits and vegetables will be labeled as good, better or best based on the suppliers farming practices. the ratings will be based on pesticide, water and soil use.

includes reagan national, crystal city, the capital, downtown washington, howard university and heading towards rfk stadium. alexandria -- i will zoom in and show you. 95, 695, east of 395 as well. the storm is moving northward at 35 miles per hour. doppler radar is seeing this rotation. it was heading towards alexandria as we speak. we don't have any ground troops on this. difficult to see.

the rainfall is very heavy with this. it could be a high precipitation scell. you have to get to the lowest level of your home. get your safe place. make sure you have alerted everyone in your region for this threat. you can see that lightning and heavy thunderstorms continue to spread off towards the north and west. we have some light showers in downtown washington at this time. it is still about 10-15 minutes away before it enters into the district. you can see another storm tracker for the western part of the storm. that is not the tornado part of it.

as we take a look here, you can see the leading edge of that getting close to the potomac river. the location is still south of reagan national airport. we are seeing a bit of an indent in here. that could be some inflow into the thunderstorm. i will zoom in on this and give you a better idea of some other cities that could be included. we switched over to velocity mode. this is the wind mode that shows the different directions in that wind. alex is going to query this for us and show you the conditions.
