-i'm sarah gore, and this is "open house." this week we're taking you on a spectacular home tour in the windy city. we visit a beautifully-restored house in lake forest, get tips from a chicago design team on how to make a big house feel cozy, and tour a stunning 9,000-square-foot square foot french-style estate. -we're in the formal entry right now, and i'd like to point out some things that are typical adler, typical black-and-white marble floor, also the paneled wall to look like a door because adler was so concerned about symmetry. -but first an amazing penthouse with a garage in this sky. -this is 2,764 square feet of pure fun.
