everybody bleary eyed this morning, did not have to worry about whether delays. it is chilly. 25 of the airport. partly cloudy. will probably drop a few degrees. we will make up to 34 this afternoon. clouds will be increasing and after sunset, early tonight, a chance for light snow. i will talk more about that when i come back. first, what is happening out in the rhodes. >> good morning. not much happening. really did not have problem spots. things looking good on the major roadways. 65 in the area of white marsh heading south to the beltway. the west side of the beltway, 12 minutes all the way down the west side. 12 minutes on the outer loop in the northeast corner. six minutes 95 southbound between 100 and 32. 70 at 29, 61 miles an hour east to the beltway. not too many people out there

this early hour of the morning. top part of the beltway, harford road looking good on the inner loop and outer loop. the live view of the westbound at liberty road, no problems at all. that is the latest. >> the ravens are super bowl champions once again. it was a tense finish but the ravens came up on top. >> joe flacco and the ravens wanted to send ray lewis into retirement as champions and look like champion's right out the gate. joe flacco, third touchdown of the game to jacoby jones. catching a pass falling down. the start of the second half -- have to get the end zone dance in. start of the second half, jacoby jones returned 108 yard kickoff for a touchdown. and then a 34-minute power outage. san francisco, when the lights

came back on, scored a few touchdowns but on the final drive the ravens -- just long enough. the ravens win their second championship in franchise history. the final score -- yep, had a chance but out of reach. the ravens when the ball game by 34-31. the second championship in franchise history and john harbaugh comes out on top in the super bowl. >> john, and all of our fans back in baltimore, we are bringing another one home. >> it is never pretty, it is never perfect, but it is us, and that is us today, the way we do it. >> nobody wins -- as a champ to go out on your last ride would amend i went out with, my teammates. you look around the stadium and baltimore, baltimore, we are coming home, baby. >> that is right.

bringing lombardi back to baltimore. for those who saw the ravens with it in person it was all the more memorable. jennifer franciotti caught up with some of the fans after the game. >> all night long -- all night long we have been talking of -- to ravens fans but no super bowl win would not be complete without the possee. all of these guys. they are here. how are you feeling? >> i could not even talk. it was just so tremendous. the path we were following every thing came together in the season. some adversities of this evening but we can't forget. >> after the win, you guys went down on the field. who did you have coming up to you? >> i was not there but they said darnell came up and have pictures taken of with them -- >> the lewis family, we had pictures in the past. jacoby jones. >> it means a lot when you guys

franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> it really did feel like a home game. the fans were so loud and the stadium. the fans in new orleans got a perfect mardi gras treatment but back at home the streets of baltimore was more like the french quarter. >> sarah samson is live on federal hill where things have definitely calmed down. but quite a celebration last night. >> absolutely. things are a lot quieter now than just a few hours ago. as soon as a the ravens won, the city has erupted in excitement. at masses of fans took to the streets. it was more than just celebration. things did get a little destructive. people climbing up on street signs and pulling them out of the ground but most fans were just happy to be a part of the celebration. >> it is unbelievable. i have never seen anything like this in my life and i am glad to be a part of it. but it was awesome. at the end, it was a genius.

right down toward baltimore. the daytime, it will be fine but after sunset, 5:00, chance of light snow. this will likely produce another coaching of snow in most areas. an inch or less for just about everybody out there. i guess you would call the major accumulations in the mountains. 6 inches or more in the western part of garrett county and west virginia. but baltimore, an inch or been less and most likely early tonight and tapering off after midnight. a mixture of sun and clouds, a chance of snow early this evening and tonight -- and the seven-day forecast going into the weekend, dried tomorrow, 38. could be snow flurry of activity early wednesday morning. a bigger storm comes up the coast friday. this i think will be a mix of rain and snow with temperatures by that time in the upper 30's to around 40. the weather is quiet but we will see what is happening on the road. >> good morning, everyone very very quiet.

ray lewis praising the latest one joe flacco. in order for the ravens to celebrate it means what team has to deal with getting so close but not close enough. the 49ers certainly made it a game to remember. >> head coach jim harbaugh talked about joe flacco's uncanny ability to avoid trouble and they start reflected on his mind set as to the game progressed. >> joe got out of some sack situations. he was pretty slippery in those. he threw the ball up, up for grabs two or three times and in a blaze on the ball. >> i just thought we would win this game. we started making plays. the defense got the turnover. when we came out we got a great drive. at that moment, i just said, we got this. i got this. all we have to do is get the ball back in our hands and we can make it happen.

of purple from above as they poured out of bars and restaurants downtown. in canton, fans were flying high. >> it is unbelievable. i have never seen anything like this in my life. glad to be a part of the. >> mega mega. like nothing we have had ever. >> in federal hill, the energy was electric. the market looked more like a rock concert. at some point, the celebration turned dangerous, even destructive. here, a group of people pulled a street sign out of the ground. several vehicles in the area were damaged, including news vehicles. extra police officers patrolled the streets, directing police officers and trying to patrol the crop -- control the crowd. fans were giddy to call the city of the 2013 super bowl champions home. >> at the end, it was a genius. could not ask for a better win. >> ravens -- don't mess with us ever.
