>> a deadly shooting at a glen burnie pizza restaurant lands a teenager behind bars. the search continues to 943 other people involved in that shooting. police say 20-year-old misael fluoresce was shot -- flores was shot. >> today would have been his 21st birthday. the balloons to see here were originally bought for the big celebration, but now they are decorating a memorial outside the restaurant where he was killed. it is business in usual -- as usual inside the mr. winks pizza. employees comfort each other and cope with his death. >> is very hard. sometimes i want to call him up and hang out again, but he is not here. >> instead of celebrating his birthday, a friend set up this memorial.

county police are on the scene of a stabbing at arundel mills mall. police a man was stabbed to around 8:30 and the call came from a food court area of the mall. he was taken to shock trauma and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. the search continues in west baltimore for the gunman who killed a 34-year-old man just before 2:00 this morning in the 1900 block of west baltimore sheet. police said the man had been shot in the head. he was rushed to the hospital. there was a darn right -- robbery near the campus of loyola university. it could have ended much worse. >> it was 2:00 a.m. when three people walking within the 100 block of west cold spring lane were approached by two men with knives. >> as a cross to a parking lot, they were confronted by two individuals who demanded money

and jewelry. those individuals were brandishing knives and obviously threatening the victims. >> one victim was punched in the face before the suspects fled on foot. loyola, which bought -- boasts a strong track record of student say, immediately contacted their community through its instant alert system. >> it has been here since we had a violent crime incidents of this sort of our campus. we read extremely concerned and want to make sure do everything we can to make sure this does not happen again. >> toyota students have long been urged to travel in groups and be around -- be aware of their surroundings -- loyola students. >> they were doing everything they were supposed to do. it makes it that much more concern to us as a community. >> the school has increased patrols and the number of off- duty police officers to help our the campus. police are encouraging students and others to stay on main thoroughfares and well lit areas.

>> we treated very seriously. does have the potential to escalate. obviously we don't want victims to incur more substantial industries. >> the description of the suspects is not very detailed. the police are looking for two black men between a -- between ages of 18 and 25. water has been restored to nearly 100 people in baltimore county after a 12-inch water main break left them without running water for much of the day. the water main break happened just after 7 near bellaire road. crews were forced to dig a large hole in the roadway in traffic has been diverted as a work to repair the break. >> we just got the water shut off, so they have to mark in see if there are any utilities under there and then they will have to start digging. we will not know the condition of the main until we did it. >> the roads are said to be closed to traffic until monday.

some changes could be coming to the state's law on slot machines. earlier today the senate president mike miller said he would push for operators to hold one of the five licenses. there have been no bids for the parlor in western maryland. the hope to make changes to attract more bidders to the state. president obama is introducing ideas to slash the budget and diminished the nation's deficit. the only thing he says he would not do is allow middle tax increase -- middle-class tax increase. brian moore has the story from washington. >> as pall mall winds down his -- as president obama winds down his trip to asia, he is looking to make inroads with the new members of congress. >> to put our country on a path of fiscal discipline and responsibility that will lead to a brighter economic future for all. >> president wants to eliminate your marks, those pork projects

lawmakers piggyback into bigger bills. this past week, a presidential commission released radical suggestions for raising revenue and slashing the deficit. that includes a cut in the home mortgage tax deduction. republicans say they are ready to make some tough decisions. >> we are tracking down every last rule and robot with two key government spending on autopilot. if we are wrong to change the broken status quo, we need to make it easier to cut spending in order to increase it. >> democrats are already drawn the battle lines and not just over budget cuts. house speaker nancy pelosi is about to lose her title, but she wants to lead the democratic minority with the same management team. she brokered a deal that would keep steny hoyer as our no. 2 and james cockburn as our no. 3. heading off a fight that would have divided her forces before the fight even begins. >> come monday, democrats are

expected to return to capitol hill pushing for checks to security in the social security recipients. the payment is an effort to make up for another year without an increase. the bill would cost around $14 billion. more than a thousand gathered for the annual city schools choice fair to attract students to look at their potential schools. it is designed to be a one-stop shop for students to selector school for the 2011-2012 school year. they can talk to school staff to learn about the unique programs offered at each school. >> we think is important because it allows our students to be engaged. engaged students are students who tend to have better attendance, academic success, and are more involved in the life of the school. >> of baltimore mayor and the city school ceo welcome the students to that school. disney embarks on a new journey.

>> dozens are helping make the holiday special for those less fortunate. buses were parked in ellicott city today to collect nonperishable food items. the buses will be there again tomorrow from 10:00 until four o'clock. the baltimore city fire department honored a fallen hero tonight with the ceremony 52 years in the making. lt. charles luther it died in 1958 while responding to a chemical fire. at least 25 other firefighters suffered from exposure to smoking chemical fumes.

the ceremony brought out firefighters of all ages to witness the dedication of a plaque in his name. >> i did not think it was going to be as emotional as it has been, as soon as they brought out his helmet that he wore. that really brought back a lot of memories. >> -- >> says his father loved his job so much she even went in on his day off to help the men he led. the plaque will be displayed in the baltimore city fire museum. university of maryland is looking for the effects of so- called black outs in a can. stevens say alcohol and energy drinks are common on campus. the alcohol content is equal to about five beers. the drink costs a lot less and is marketed to young drinkers. >> with the caffeine is doing is encouraging people to drink far more than they should. it masks the effect of the alcohol so people don't feel the state of intoxication that would

that. the storm is headed this way, but just the rainy part. some high, thin clouds have been drifting overhead. temperatures dropped for a while but have tabled out here. it dropped to 30 night and now we are back up to 40 degrees. it has stopped the killing for the time being. the actual grain is moving into ohio. as the front approaches, our rain chances will increase, but it looks like all that will hold off for a little bit. today was another one of those days, morning lows were a 30-45. 35 is typical. it will probably not required that cold tomorrow morning because of these clouds that will be moving into the area. 40 at the airport, 50 downtown, 44 at annapolis. a little cooler in cambridge because they don't have the thin clouds overhead that we have here. you can see a lot of 40's around us.

frederick has dipped to 32. it is 30 to around 40 out in four west maryland. -- far west maryland. in some cases 40's especially near the bay, and during the day tomorrow it warms up again, but not as warm as it has been caught only around 60 or just short of that if we get too many clouds drifting in from the approaching storm. the computer models put it around 60 degrees or so. here is a satellite picture. you can see some of these great clouds overhead, not as much down to the south toward virginia. that is the clear skies. the clouds running off the storms to the west for coming in. the high pressure is good for another day before the front moves in on monday. when it does movie and it does not look like it will be that active. on tuesday it will pump a lot of moisture our way. the forecast over not, mostly
