Subject: Come on right in!
Pretty entertaining newsreel of various subjects from 1924. That's when of course Calvin Coolidge was president. As a matter of fact, the first story we see generals, army folk and the general public streaming into the White House for a reception! It didn't look like the police didn't check anyone for anything. They just streamed them right in. Other stories are about a park grooming, woman candidates, runners and other subjects. Great parade footage included too.
Washinqton DC - President and Mrs. Calvin Coolidge stage a White House reception / Chief Justice Taft and Andrew S. Mellon in attendance.

Grand Duchess Cyril - wife of claimant to the Russian throne visits Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
St. Louis 45th annual carnival / thousands view $10,000 floats.
Nation pays tribute to Samuel Gompers, who died recently in Texas / he visits with San Francisco's Charles Schwab.
Mrs. Coolidge receives honorary Doctor of Laws from Boston University.
New York - Workers risk lives to paint WJZ's radio tower at Aeolian Hall, across 42nd Street from the New York Public Library, in Manhattan.
San Francisco: Army blasts away last signs of training cantonment foundation.
Philadelphia hires tale-teller for children.
