right new looking at center city philadelphia just a gorgeous shot, and seeing blue skies, in 22nd. we have nice looking weather conditions in most other locations but it is glummy looking at jack frost big boulder at this point. notice the tree, blowing around, we have got wind chill there and it has been as low as the teens in the poconos this morning. out in reading reeve 42 degrees right now and it is starting to brighten up there. we will enjoy the rest of the day as we get these clouds out of here. we can see low pressure system the spin, counterclockwise spin on that low, the rain that came here yesterday is now up through massachusetts and rhode island, and the other, bulk of this moving to the south, we are left with some clouds moving through right now, but they won't be here all day. forty-three in philadelphia. forty-two trenton. forty in wilmington. forty in allentown. forty-five in wildwood. it looks acceptable until you step outside and you realize that it feels like eight in the poconos. feels like 30 in allentown.

ready, a lot of folks are meeting inside campbell's field. just getting their instructions on what to do next. run starts at 8:30. folks would be shuttled to the base of the ben franklin bridge. let look live from our traffic camera, because it should be, empty right now, very quiet. the most quiet you have ever seen ben franklin bridge, at 7:45. it will remain closed to traffic, until 9:30 this morning when the event is over. now these runners, they will start around 8:30 at the base of the ben franklin bridge right where the tolls are, they will make their way across the bridge, go to philadelphia, make their way back and that wilt total a 10k. it is a walking event. walkers participating and they have i 2-mile event as well. this is all to raise money for lark school an organization that helps children with disabilities a lot of folks participating are family members and health care volunteers are here as well

and other folks who want to participate as well. now, wolf, pose he had for pictures and spoke to voters yet at cheltenham mall. one of several stops on the campaign trail. wolf is currently leading in the kohl's. tom corbett also campaigning in our area today. corbett will subpoena by a rally in bucks county, with new jersey governor chris christie. yesterday corbett spoke to workers in the scranton area. bet candidates urging the

public get out and vote on tuesday. well, a team have of investigators with the national transportation safety board is looking into the deadly crash of the virgin galactic passenger spaceship. richard brand son also spoke to employees on saturday. danielle nottingham has more. >> reporter: more than a dozen investigators from the national transportation safety board are in the mohave desert examining data and combing site where virgin galactic's spaceship two blew apart and crash. the accident killed a test pilot. >> wreckage is located, on a large area, or oriented north east to southwest about 5 miles from end to even. >> reporter: spacecraft, crashed friday afternoon during a test flight, 39 year-old michael allsbury was kill, his co pilot was peter seabold who was seriously injured after parachute to go safety. because the accident happened on the test flight, it has more data then usual for its

leads to two people being dead. car hit a with man and man ran into traffic. it happened just before 6:00 at borbeck avenue in rhawnhurst. vehicle did stop. unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene. woman died an hour later at the hospital. meanwhile a woman is fighting for her life after being struck by two cars right outside temple university hospital. that first car that hit her, stop. the second car kept right ongoing. philadelphia police are looking to see if there is surveillance video that may have caught the the glimpse of the slain vehicle. search is on for a knife wielding suspect who stabbed a man in frank for. police say it happened inside a sandwich shop at frankford and margaret early saturday morning. thirty-one year-old victim was stabbed four times in the face and head. he is in critical condition. it is 8:09 right now, a scary scene at happiest place on earth, coming up next, more on a fire that broke out on a newly built attraction at walt disney world.

it looks fine here and even temperature wise in the 40's for everybody but that does not factor in the wind. when we factor in the win we make it feel, colder. thirty-three right now. it feels like 18 up in the poconos right now, 34 in wilmington. thirty-two in millville. cold start these temperatures will feel in the upper 30's, lower 40's, all day long. winds, sustained winds, this is non-stop, 26 miles an hour in philadelphia, with the occasional gust, over 30 miles an hour and we could be finding as high as 40 miles an hour win gusts, very, very windy, chilly, raw kind of day to day, even though temperatures will be getting to 50 degrees. it won't feel that way at all. tomorrow, it is going to be be better, well up in the 50's, that low pressure system get farther away, high pressure builds in more. wind can be relax. their enemy is farther away. they can take a deep breath, exhale we will fine

today is sunday november 2nd good morning to you thanks so much for joining us i'm nicole brewer. it is just about 8:30. let check that forecast. it will be a chilly one out there carol, you have to bundle up. >> quite a week even, we have a wintry feel to it and especially i think maybe today because of the wind it will make it feel like down in the 30's and maybe lower 40's for the warmth of the day, highest it will feel. we will look outside and it is starting to brighten up really nicely and after that glummy day yesterday, this is a perfect look, as we look at center city philadelphia temperature of 44 degrees. do not let that temperature fool you, it feels colder than that. it is pretty down at the shore and windy too, you can see they are hugging the buildings, one or two people outside the boardwalk right new because it will be wind there i as in every place else. so windy these cloud get pushed around like clouds, 37 degrees out in kutztown this morning. it will be brightening up. you can see blue skies john

happening right now, thousands of runners just started to make their way a across ben franklin bridge we are growing and growing, tries to raise money for a lark school an organization that helps children, with disabilities. and, lots of folks are out here real early in the morning. they had a message for carol. they asked her to tone down the the win. they were saying they are a little bit nervous to run on

chowdhry for cbs-3 "eyewitness news" us. >> if carol could control the weather i it would be 75 and sunny. thanks, stay warm out there. it is 8:33. local k-9 officers who participated in the man hunt for eric frein are back home and sharing their experiences. frein was captured at an abandoned airport hanger on thursday after spending 48 days on the run. now prosecutors have charged him with first degree murder in the september 12th ambush in which corporal brian dick son was shot and killed and trooper alex douglass wounded. officers say frein's capture was a team effort. >> there were numerous sight goes, we were get the dogs out and to go from the last possible, spot that he was seen and the dog on the track if he picked up on anything. >> it is always in the back of your mine that he could pick you off anywhere. plus, the traps he had set up. so, it was two things you had to worry about. >> the officers were part of the septa's iron dog challenge

that event raises money to support family of plymouth town hip police officer bradley fox. he was killed in the line of duty in 2012. u.s. marine for the in afghanistan is back home in florida avenue spending seven months in a mexican prison. cbs news correspondent wendy gilette tells us the role post traumatic stress disorder may have played in the judge's decision. >> reporter: a private plane touchdown in miami bringing home marine sergeant andrew, and the retired marine gave a brief wave and smile before leaving the airport in an sur. he was freed friday night from a mexican jail, where he spent the past eight months. it was arrested after crossing the boarder with loaded guns. he said he had made a wrong turn on a california freeway and never intended to enter mexico. the state department and u.s. politicians for the for his release. >> we have to stand behind our veterans, and when they are in

everybody. all right. well, tightrope is waiting in chicago for dare devil nick wallenda the 35 year-old high wire artist is set to perform two nail biting walks that will be televised around the world tonight. some 50 store ace above ground wallenda will walk uphill at a 15-degree angle from one building to era cross the river, then he will walk blindfolded on a separate table between two towers. discovery channel is using a 102nd delay to cut away if wallenda falls, that is just terrifying. he plans to perform both walks without a net, or hardness. i cannot watch. i don't know about you but i can't do it.
