>> ♪ >> developing now, surveillance video shows a brazen bank robbery and all our search is under way for two gunmen who stole cash and forced employees into a back room. good evening everyone, i'm natasha brown. the search for those suspects is ongoing and a reward is being offered. "eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers has the details now from radnor township, delaware county. >> reporter: the td bank on

lancaster avenue opened for business at 8:30 saturday morning. just half hour after it did, security cameras captured this. >> two males entered the store brandishing one what we believe to be a 9-millimeter handgun. >> reporter: they were there to rob the bank. video clearly showing one of them pointing the gun at the tellers as police say he demanded they hand over money in their drawers. in this still frame that shows an employee cooperating hands in the air. police say that the robber then placed his gun against the tell's neck as he demand more cash. soon after it started, it was over. the suspects tried to cover their tracks. >> placed all of the stash in the rear of the store in a safe area and then flee down a local street. >> reporter: police do have reason to be hopeful the pair will be caught. they say distinct cart rift ticks will help showing our cameras photos of the shoes they were wearing and say it's likely someone saw them before they committed their crime. >> they were in the area casing the bank or watching the bank and we would like any

residents or travelers through the area to please call us. >> reporter: and as is customary with most bank robberies officials did not release exactly how much money was taken in this crime. one figure they did throw out there, however, $7,500. that is the standing reward for any information that leads to an arrest and a conviction of these two suspects. we're in radnor township, matt rivers, cbs3 "eyewitness news." >> also new tonight, firefighters battle a major building fire in westville gloucester county. "eyewitness news" at edgewater avenue and deadline drive. heavy flames were shooting out of the two-story mars graphic services building when the firefighters arrived. authorities say the building is vacant and the cause of this blaze is still under investigation. a barber slop and a apartment catch fire in north philadelphia. iwitness cameras at 22nd and west lippincott where firefighters quickly got the upper hand at on the fire at the

heads turn barbershop. a man is found shot dead inside a car in north philadelphia overnight. police responding to the report of a person with gun arrived on the scene at 25th and nicholas street to find the man dead inside a car. also, a woman shot in the leg. she's in stable condition. no word on suspects or a motive at this time. and it took new jersey state police less than 24 hours to track down the suspect in a murder in woodbine, cape may county. investigators say this man 20-year-old xavier geisinger shot and called damian geshaw. he's charged with murder and related offenses and is being held in cape may county jail. delaware state police are searching for this man, 47-year-old john fulton. they say he's a homeless sex offender who failed to register his homeless status as required bylaw. if you have any information about his whereabouts please contact police right away.

spread of eastbound l u.s. customs and health officials are taking temperatures of passengers arriving at new york's j.f.k. and four other airports. the disease has already now killed more than 4,000 people according to the world health organization. there are now more than 8,000 confirmed probable and suspected cases of ebola. cbs news correspondent don champion has more. >> reporter: passengers arriving from liberia, sierra leone and guinea through new york's kennedy international airport will face more detailed scrutiny after landing. >> the expanded screening measures provide this layer of protection to the already established protocols to minimize the risk of another case of ebola here in the united states. >> reporter: they are now required to have their temperatures taken with no touch thermometers and will also have to answer questions from the centers for disease control. if a traveler has a fever or has had contact with an ebola patient, they will be taken aside. >> then our on site quarantine officer will respond in person

and do a detailed interview of that individual, make a risk assessment, take additional action as necessary. >> reporter: the cdc says about 150 people a day enter the u.s. from west african countries where ebola is spreading. nearly all of them fly into j.f.k. and the four other airports where enhanced screenings will be done. travelers give the new program mixed reviews. >> there will also be people who develop these symptoms later and they're not going to have the fever in the plane. >> i feel that, you know, pretty comfortable that we've been through other outbreaks and we'll be able to get through this one. >> reporter: officials say passengers who have fevers or symptoms will be quarantined at a local hospital n new york, don champion for cbs3 "eyewitness news". >> philadelphia groups are joining the worldwide effort to help ebola victims in west africa. eynon tabernacle church is hosting the heart for liberia service day in germantown this weekend. philadelphia for that reunion. a barbershop employee purchased the dog from a student and contact the cora after hearing about her stolen dog. chi chi was taken from a home on west girard street during a burglary. cora is just happy to have her dog back. >> it was tough. i didn't know what to do. i had to lay low. i didn't know if the people that had her were mad enough to hurt her. i didn't know if she was been taken care of or things like that. i knew i would get her back. >> chi chi was not harmed by the burglars but they're still on the loose, those suspects. a celebration in philadelphia to mark an important milestone. it's the 50th anniversary of philadelphia's sister cities relationship with florence italy. a special ceremony was held at the italian market. mayor michael nutter joined the deputy mayor of florence to renew the sister cities agreement. calling all chocolate lovers. the academy of natural sciences is the place to be.

already from about two to 12 degrees colder right now than this time yesterday. so, that's a sign of that cool dry canadian air mass moving n low 40's in mount pocono and in allentown. the poconos will be under a frost advisory overnight as temperatures will drop into the 30's. there's that cold air up around the great lakes. low 40's in buffalo and cleveland that will be spilling southward through the overnight hours. nice fall foliage shaping up already in the poconos. we have high color reports and also moderate color around the lehigh valley. still on the low side for philadelphia and surrounding suburbs but give it another week or so, should change rapidly. still tracking some tropics off the coast right now. this is tropical storm if any. wind at 70 miles per hour gusting to 85. it should pass pretty much close to bermuda over the next 24 hours but stay out over the open waters of the atlantic ocean eventually just absorb itself with a cold front so really no effects to the u.s. mainland. back home tomorrow enjoy the sunshine, mostly sunny skies,

pleasant still cool for this time of year. clouds quickly move back in here tomorrow night and we'll start to see the chance for a few showers on monday afternoon. it will be mild on tuesday, still the threat for a couple of showers especially north and west of the city, but i think it's wednesday when we see a good shot for had some steadier showers. temperatures again struggling to get to the low 60's during the afternoon we should be in the upper 60's for average high this time of year. monday upper 60's to near 70's for the afternoon temperatures and it will be even warmer as we head towards tuesday. chilly overnight. 45 for center city, some 30's in the suburbs. tomorrow a pleasant afternoon, mostly sunny with a high of 64 degrees. and of course tomorrow night big football game, giants come to town, 8:30 kickoff, 56 degrees. it will be cool but we'll keep it dry with just some clouds. here's the extended forecast. 68 with a couple showers possible monday. 78 on tuesday. some sunshine. could be a stray shower. better chance for showers on wednesday. drier conditions for the end of next week. we're in the low 70's next friday and saturday. stay with us.
