seasonal farm workers, as well as their immediate family members. funding will also go towards counseling, tutoring, skill workshops, financial aid stipends, health services and housing assistance. >> well, another beautiful day here in the bay area. let's go to our chief meteorologist, bill martin. now with a look at the forecast. >> yeah i know it's been a good, good may thus far as we were good month about been real nice. and we're going to continue on in this pattern which is sort of like not too hot, not too cold, kind of just right. and about average for temperatures this time of year. some areas a little above, some areas a little below, but just right down the middle. these are the highs from today. highs tomorrow will be a degree or two cooler inland. it's subtle, but the real story really is just there's a bunch of fog. it's going to really push inland tonight, tomorrow and the next couple of days. and by friday, saturday, next couple of days, we're going to see more significant cooling. so these highs these 70s will turn into 60s on friday probably and certainly into saturday and
11:21 pm
maybe into sunday as well. so it's not going to be, you know, the warm spots in the bay area are going to be the mid and upper 70s, not mid and upper 80s. the marine layer stretches out. that's what it's doing right now. and that's why the fog is pushed well inland. the microclimates are going to they're set up right. because we've got the cool coast mild bay. and so temperatures as you move across the bay gradually warm. but they're not in the 90s in the very warm spots like out in mount diablo. they're mostly just going to be tomorrow in the 80s low 80s. the fog is up over the hill. you can't see it there, but you can see it in this depiction. the forecast model for tomorrow morning. look at that fog push for the morning hour. so it burns back pretty quick. but that's a lot of fog footprint. and the footprint we'll look at it again gets actually more aggressive as we go into friday. and that's the beginning of the cooldown. so again these are subtle differences as it's just not going to be as warm friday saturday. and sunday. it's going to be nice and pleasant, but it's going to feel a little more like maybe early spring. and,
11:22 pm
you know, instead of instead of later spring, which is a subtle change. so here's the fog forecast for tomorrow morning. a bunch of it burns back. and then this is the big push when the cooling starts on friday. look at that. so that's right. the fog gets real deep and it pushes inland. so that starts the significant cooling with highs just in the 60s and 70s around the bay. and then saturday the same thing. the damage is done. the cool air has filtered in. and so temperatures on saturday and sunday despite cloud cover not being horrendous. it's just the cool air is replaced. the warm air in the valley and temperatures are going to moderate downward on the weekend. here are the forecast highs for tomorrow. a little bit cooler in some places and then the five day forecast. so it's a good one. it's just not going to be quite as warm as some might like. >> all right bill thank you. new tonight an annual event honors the people who were killed while riding on the streets of san francisco. dozens of bike bicyclists participated in the ride of silence tonight. ktvu amberleigh spoke with one woman who survived a hit and run while
