your bathroom at just 384ft!s. >> you've now seen the entire house, which has no appliances and no heating. it takes just a matter of seconds to walk from one side to the other, so why is this house so popular? >> it is a quite compact in size, but it has a big power house of possibilities, which i think is what drew such huge crowds here over the weekend. >> the house sits on a 7800 square foot lot, enough to build a nice sized new home. so just six days after the home was listed, cherry, she put down an offer that she says is well above the $1.7 million asking price. >> so how could i say it's very crazy. >> she has been looking for at least three months and says finding homes in cupertino has been even more difficult recently, since the fed has not cut interest rates as some had expected it to do in recent months. >> the property i'm expecting bigger, but actually it's come out anyway. this is the price in this market. >> she is buying on behalf of another person who does intend

to build here. builder amir naghavi with paradise homes says the price to build varies depending on upgrades, but you could expect to spend over $1 million in a process with design and permitting that could take a year and a half. >> it depends on what you want to do with the house. i mean, if you want to build a what we call a home depot grade home, it costs differently than if you want to buy build something that is a little bit higher up. and then very custom homes. >> people can can still build a pretty good sized home here and be in the neighborhood where all your neighbors homes are worth 4 to $5 million. so i think that's the potential people saw when they came through this tiny home was a hunting cabin that was originally built in the 1940s. >> it has never been any bigger than it is right now. reporting in cupertino, i'm mark sayer, ktvu, fox two news. >> well, if that home has a nice garden, it'll be getting some rainfall as we head into the weekend as a cold system drops

into the bay area. we're talking about some rain back in the forecast. just amazing. in april. one day we could be talking about some 80s and now we're talking about some rain showers and sierra snowfall. so definitely a cold pattern setting up for your saturday. and you can see the expected rainfall totals. the bulk of the rainfall will be focused in the santa cruz mountains, possibly approaching two inches of rainfall. a place like san francisco could be on either side of an inch and up in the north bay could be over an inch of rainfall. it won't be a persistent rainfall all weekend long. the main front moves in first thing tomorrow morning. early tomorrow morning, say between about 4:00 and 6:00. and then this will also be a snow producer in the sierra. no watches out toward tahoe, but we do have a possibly around 3 to 8in of snowfall as we head into saturday, saturday night, and possibly into sunday. so here's the system we are watching on the satellite. there's that circulation approaching northern california already, some green showing up on the radar right around eureka, right around cape mendocino and at least in the short tum, there's a chance you might encounter some mist or some drizzle. you can see a few showers at least approaching

portions of mendocino county. now, the winds have been picking up all day right now you can see the winds gusting over 20 miles an hour out toward concord and vacaville. sfo gusting at 28 miles an hour, and san jose winds gusting to 25 miles an hour. here's a live camera looking out above san francisco. it's picking up on the cloud cover, moving in so we will continue to thicken up the cloud cover over the next few hours and current numbers have cooled off into the 50s and the lower 60s. overnight, we'll be tracking some 40s with lots of cloud cover and rainfall developing. first thing tomorrow morning, probably while you're sleeping around 4:00 or 5:00 tomorrow morning, you'll probably hear the rain drops hitting the roof. so a cooler today? that's the headline. at least that what happened today. you can see this front coming on board here. so the front this will produce the rainfall first thing tomorrow morning and then some off. and on rain showers into the afternoon hours on sunday. probably the better day to get outside, but we still have to hold on to the chance of a few showers. so here's the forecast model. here we are, 10:00. the chance of some rain,
6:51 pm
maybe approaching the north bay. this is tomorrow morning, 4 a.m. look at this. a moderate to heavy rainfall. this is 6 a.m. and then after that front moves on through, we'll have some breaks in the rainfall. but still, i would plan on that once. once you have a break, you can actually have those showers develop quickly and maybe some thunderstorms late saturday afternoon into saturday evening. and then on sunday. still lots of clouds in place and the possibility of still a leftover shower forecast. highs definitely cooling things off tomorrow. no 80s, no 70s. not much in the way of 60s. most of the bay area tomorrow will be in the 50s. there's that shower chance into sunday. and then if you want to say goodbye to the storm clouds, eventually that will happen. monday. partly sunny skies, a warming trend into early next week. and by wednesday, the warmest locations here in the bay area could be back up into the 80s. mark >> thank you. it's an annual tradition in stockton. thousands of people gathered to celebrate this year's asp
