>> blue skies out there this morning. right. we are going to kind of have that weekend. if you remember last weekend, last sunday we had the blue skies. we had the sunshine, we had the downpour. and wow, we had a ton of rainbows. here's a live look at a quiet start to the morning, with a mix of sun and clouds out there, turning it over to the temperatures for you. we are just a little bit cooler, especially concord. you're down by eight degrees this morning, but again, our attention on the rain and what we are seeing out there right now, not much, but you can see there is more offshore. this system is working its way towards southern california and we will continue to have the wraparound moisture, meaning on and off rain for today into the sierra. it's a bit quiet here as well, but the travel advisory continues until tomorrow morning. it expires now at 11 a.m. so getting up over the pass is going to be a little complicated today. and hazardous . a view here of your forecast for the weekend. we're calling for showers today. the chance of

thunderstorms tomorrow less likely, but keeping in that possibility of unsettled weather as well. all in all, not a bad weekend. i'll have better details coming up in just a bit. >> okay. thank you. rosemary. well, san francisco firefighters were hard at work overnight battling a fire that burned vehicles and then spread to several buildings. i want to show you the video that the fire department posted on social media just after 2 a.m. that video, as you can see, showing those firefighters using extinguishers as well as water hoses to put those flames out on several cars and on the balconies and the building up above. that fire was burning near white street and julian avenue in the city's mission district. firefighters say at least nine people were forced to evacuate. there were two people who had minor injuries. no word yet on how that fire started. and in the east bay, firefighters responded to a fire at a grocery store. a viewer sent us this video of that fire burning in the chip aisle. now this all happened at the food max grocery store in san pablo, contra costa firefighters say they got the call just after 830

last night. the store was evacuated and firefighters say the sprinkler system was activated and helped put that fire out. no one was hurt. the cause of that fire is now under investigation. >> joe biden sentenced to prison for selling drugs in san francisco's tenderloin district. federal prosecutors say 225 year olds were living in oakland, received prison terms in separate cases. marcos carcamo was sentenced to four years in jail. federal prosecutors say he traveled from oakland to san francisco a number of times a week to sell drugs, including fentanyl. raul raul ortega was sentenced to three years for possession with intent to sell methamphetamine. this was his ortega's fourth conviction, including prior federal convictions for selling drugs in the tenderloin. >> well, governor gavin newsom says hundreds of cameras that do things like read license plates and identify crime linked vehicles by make and model will soon be in place with the hopes

of making oakland and the east bay safer. that camera system is from the company called flock safety, and it systems are already being used by a number of law enforcement agencies. officials say the cameras will take still photos of the backs of cars, and not of people or their faces. some are hopeful the cameras will have a positive impact, while others aren't so sure they could help address some of the immediate, you know, public safety issues around stolen vehicles and that kind of thing. >> i think, you know, hopefully it'll have it'll have an impact. >> i know my opinion is in the minority, that people are acting based on fear, and also an unproven, misguided belief that these cameras are going to solve all our problems. they won't. >> 290 cameras are going to be in place on oakland city streets under the purview of oakland police. while 190 cameras will be set up on state highways in the east bay and monitored by chp, the images will be stored

for 28 days. the cameras are expected to be installed over the next six months. >> time now is 705. governor newsom announced that he has granted 37 pardons and 18 commutations. a pardon frees a person from legal consequences resulting from a criminal conviction, while a commutation reduces the sentence without exonerating the person. the governor says. when reviewing clemency applications, he weighs numerous factors, including the person's conduct. since the offense and the impact to public safety. san francisco mayor london breed announced the city received an $8 million grant from the federal government to improve the buchanan street mall pedestrian walkway. the mayor says the renovation project will add lighting, landscaping and information kiosks to the outdoor street mall. there other additions will include a performance stage, sitting area, a picnic and barbecue area, and multiple playgrounds. work is expected to get started this fall. >> a new plan is in the works to

rename the oakland airport. >> planners say the name change will put the airport on the map and ultimately attract more visitors, but it's getting some mixed reviews. ktvu is amber lee has more now on the new title that could soon take flight. >> a large welcome sign greets travelers at oakland international airport. >> i guess i just like how easy it is compared to other airports i've been to. >> many praised this airport for convenience, but a name change is being proposed. instead of metropolitan oakland international airport. it's current official name, the port commission, which oversees airport operations, is considering a new name, san francisco bay oakland international airport. the airport code okay will remain the same. >> it is a perfect way to identify geographically where oakland, the city of oakland, is. port commission president barbara leslie says a study found that 50% of international travelers and 30% of domestic travelers, primarily from the

east coast, do not know that oakland is in the bay area. >> still, some travelers oppose the name change. >> i think changing the name and putting san francisco in front is kind of a diss to oakland. and then also going to create more confusion. >> but the airport's interim aviation director says the name change will raise oakland's profile. he says currently, the lack of knowledge about oakland is causing airlines not to add service and routes at this airport, adding more destinations to our portfolio. >> really, given the airlines an opportunity to fill those aircraft, maybe they just want to distance themselves from the negative connotation with the city. >> this man suspects that crime and violence in oakland may be the reason for the name change. >> i can understand to a level on a business level, but i don't agree. >> if you're trying to get people abroad that aren't familiar with the bay area and all the regional cities to come here and then including san

francisco, and the name is probably a good idea for us. >> it's about growing and growing opportunity for our employees, for travelers, was it's leaning in to this beautiful city that we all love. >> the port commission will be listening to public comment about the name change, discussing it and voting on it at its meeting on april 11th. the commission president is optimistic that it will be approved at oakland international airport. amber lee, ktvu, fox two news bay area health officials warning about an uptick in the number of measles cases ahead of spring break. >> officials say it put out the health alert to make the public aware, even though there has not been an outbreak here in the bay area. the warning comes after the cdc confirmed some 64 cases of measles here in the u.s. so far this year. health officials are advising people to be up to date on their measles vaccinations, especially if you do plan to travel internationally this spring. >> 64 in this year is already

more cases than we had in all of 2023, so it's definitely something to worry about, to think about and to be aware that we are getting more measles than we used to. >> teens and adults who have never gotten the vaccine can get it. now, cdc is recommending the measles vaccine for children 12 to 15 months of age. infants 6 to 12 months old can be vaccinated early if they're traveling internationally early. >> happening tonight, it is the home opener for bay fc, the newest professional women's soccer team in the bay area. let's go to ktvu. james torres, live from us this morning from paypal park in san jose with a preview of tonight's historic match. very excited. james >> yeah. claudia, good morning to you. we've spent a lot of time with the team over the last couple of weeks previewing this day. it's something that's been a long time coming for them that you see behind me. of course. we are in front of paypal park here, where you would normally know as the home of the san jose

earthquakes, but now you see all the bay fc swagger just imprinting itself here at the stadium. we are now just 12 hours away from kickoff, and if you want to be a fan that gets involved, you're going to want to get here a few hours before that. again, a long time coming, not just for the players and coaches, but of course the owners and the founders. the team off to a pretty good start in their inaugural season. they've already played two matches away from home, first in l.a, then in washington, d.c. they've picked up a win and a loss, scoring a goal in each match, but they've yet to take the stage at paypal park, which they'll finally do tonight in front of a sold out crowd of 18,000 people. >> everyone told me when i first moved here that bay area fans are just different, and i think at first that's kind of like, okay, you know, i don't know what that means, but all right. but i get it now. the first time i landed in the city, i saw someone wearing our gear. just a random person walking around the airport. and i was like, we only have 11 signed players. like, that's nuts.

weekend, but due to overwhelming demand, there will be a few more weeks to experience what has been an iconic san francisco experience. hsf is located on ninth street and has been in business for 26 years. the restaurant and nightclub was known for its pan-asian food and its transgender cabaret performances. the club co-owners say the decision to close was very difficult, but they have struggled to recover from losses suffered during covid and shutting down during the peak of the pandemic. >> we were really pioneers in terms of creating employment opportunities and a safe space for these transgender women to be their authentic self, even though it's sad that we're closing the fact that we've been able to be open for 26 years and

have the support that we have have, is just so beautiful. >> and instead of us all being sad and mad, that we're closing, i just want to choose to be grateful for the times that we have had to exist here. >> tomorrow was supposed to be the club's final day, but now, due to overwhelming demand, the club says it will be adding what they call april encore shows, including one on april the 17th, which will be the club's 26th anniversary. >> officials in san jose passed a new policy to set aside affordable housing for local residents. the city council unanimously approved an anti gentrification rule that will keep low income tenants at risk of displacement in the city. under the new law, 20% of affordable apartments in new city funded properties will be reserved for lower income applicants living in high displacement areas. san francisco mayor london breed is planning to visit china next month in an effort to maximize economic and business

opportunities. the mayor's office says she will begin her trip in hong kong on april 14th. the mayor is expected to be in china for a week. that trip is sponsored by a special committee that fundraises for trips like this. so no taxpayer money is being used. and in a statement, mayor breed said in part, quote, i am honored to be invited to travel to china and meet with leaders in business, innovation and government to cultivate economic opportunities and strengthen ties between san francisco and cities across the region. well, there are concerns over the pope's health. this morning, after he skipped the traditional good friday procession at rome's colosseum, pope francis was expected to preside over the reenactment of christ's passion and crucifixion. the chair had been set out for him, but then, five minutes before that event was set to begin, the vatican announced that the pope would be skipping the event for health reasons. people in attendance say they are concerned but understand that last minute change. >> i think a lot was taken into

it and i think they probably prioritize his health for easter, which i think is a very responsible thing to do. i mean, definitely, i know he's been going through a lot this year, so i don't expect him to be able to make every event. >> for now. the 87 year old is still scheduled to preside over a lengthy evening easter vigil in saint peter's basilica and will also preside over easter sunday, mass. >> let's take you up into the sierra. you can expect some big challenges while driving through the mountains. that's the donner lake area of highway 80 there, and a parts of 80 and 50 chains are required on all vehicles, both eastbound and westbound directions on 80. last check nyack to the nevada line on 80 and on 50 twin bridges all the way into myers to south lake. trucks are being screened and drivers must have maximum chains in their possession in order to continue their drive. and right now it looks pretty slow out there. we just heard from coop, who is south of lake tahoe, he said. china peak, two feet at

scattered showers. this is working south. we're going to get the wraparound moisture from this. and i'll show you what i mean here in just a moment. let's check in on the sierra where it's fairly quiet here as well. but the travel advisory does continue until tomorrow morning. if you are thinking about heading up the over areas of donner. the snow lab reported almost ten inches in the last to 24 hours or so, but some areas picking up more. as frank mentioned just a moment ago, storm tracker two pulling it back and showing you the center of the storm. so again, this continues south towards southern california. if you're going to southern california, you've got more possibility there of a wet weekend than for us. but notice the circulation going on around the core of the storm. that was is what will continue to push into the bay area, and it doesn't look like much. but if you are going to be out and about for today, maybe a good idea to keep that umbrella handy. here's a view of the timeline into about 5:00. notice the scattered showers. do pick up as we get into the second part of the afternoon early evening, and then that looks to

be about it. but as long as we have the clouds overhead and we do have unstable air, we could see, you know, of course, an isolated thunderstorm develop and pop up. this is just a projection. this is just a model. tomorrow morning we wake up mostly cloudy, but mainly dry, and tomorrow looks mainly dry as well. we will call for just the possibility of a few scattered showers here. you can see 5:00 in the afternoon, a little bit hanging over the north bay, and it will, you know, kind of slide over the central and south bay into the afternoon. temperatures in and across the bay area this morning. it's a chilly start, even a little bit cooler than yesterday for some low 40s right now in concord, walnut creek, 50 degrees in san francisco. your afternoon highs for today just a tad below average. upper 50s to low 60s in the north bay. 6363 for the south bay of san jose for tomorrow, we'll call for a chilly start to easter sunday by noontime, mid to upper 50s in the forecast, and we will end the day in the low 60s once again, so temperatures won't

the grass is very soggy. but as we mentioned a moment ago, at least it's not falling from the sky at the moment. giving you a look here over lake tahoe where we've got blue sky here to start the day as well. lake tahoe receiving several inches of snowfall, even 1 to 2ft, expected by the end of the weekend. here is a look at that storm. it's going to continue to work towards southern california. we will have just the wrap around on and off a scattered showers for today, but at this point looks like maybe a little bit of drizzle along the coastline. and just inside the bay, the sierra is fairly quiet. the travel advisory the winter storm warning for the sierra will continue into tomorrow morning, so getting up there today could still be a bit hazardous. be prepared for that. it's going to be a slow go. if you can wait tomorrow will be the better day. here's a look at the forecast for us into the weekend. calling for even the possibility of isolated thunderstorms. once again. so sun, clouds, rainbows, brief

downpours that type of thing very similar to what we had last sunday and then into our bay area sunday, which also happens to be easter. for those of you celebrating, less likely we are calling for just a slight chance of wet weather, but it shouldn't be too bad. a better look at what we can expect in the extended forecast coming up. >> throwing rocks. i'm gonna shoot you. you will be shot. throw another one. i will shoot you. do not do it right. >> do not throw it well. >> san pablo police released body camera footage of a police shooting last september. andre smith's wife had called for a mental health evaluation. video shows officer was using tasers, beanbag rounds after smith throws chunks of bricks at them, an officer shot and wounded him in the leg when he moved towards them with a metal pole. smith recovered at the contra costa county district attorney now has charged him with assaulting a police officer.

>> police in sunnyvale have now released footage and details about the 19 year old, who was shot and killed by officers last weekend. and we do want to warn you that some of this video is very disturbing. police say they got a call about a man with a knife running naked through a mobile home park, and now they say it appears that 19 year old emmanuel perez becerra called police on himself and was pretending to be a concerned bystander. he was still on the phone with dispatcher when officers arrived on the video. officers can be heard repeatedly asking him to drop the knife before officer kevin lemos fires two shots. that encounter lasted less than two minutes. the man's family says he has struggled with his mental health, especially after the pandemic. sunnyvale's police department confirmed that officers are armed with several non-lethal measures and that includes a baton, a taser and pepper spray. they did not comment on why those measures were not used. and for the first time, we are hearing from the plaintiffs behind a lawsuit aimed at the

city of san francisco over conditions in the tenderloin district. >> that's ktvu christien kafton shows us these residents say they want the city to take decisive action, to put an end to open air drug markets and homeless encampments. >> conditions in san francisco's tenderloin are the ongoing center of debate, and now the center of a lawsuit filed last week. residents and hotels in the area say the city hasn't done enough to improve street conditions and filed a suit in federal court saying while they pay their taxes, they don't get the same services that other city residents receive. several of the residents chose to remain anonymous, but are speaking out now for the first time about what it's like living in the tenderloin. >> it is dangerous to come outside. i work three days a week. i have to walk two blocks up where there's drug drugs going around in drug dealers. >> this resident is raising two children in the tenderloin and says it's not fair that they have to live in a dangerous

neighborhood. well i'm asking for is just one thing. >> security. >> the attorney representing the plaintiff says the city has allowed the tenderloin to sink into chaos. and it's a little bit more than that, because there's evidence that the city has treated this neighborhood as the containment zone. >> this is where the city has directed this activity with the hope, apparently, if we can contain it to the tenderloin, then maybe it won't spread to other neighborhoods. >> san francisco city attorney david chu says everyone in the city deserves safe and clean streets, and that san francisco is making a good faith effort working with state and federal law officials to clear the tenderloin. all that, despite battling an injunction it says, is hampering the effort. >> the city has spent significant effort to reduce crime to disrupt open air drug dealing and address homelessness, all within the boundaries of the injunction that we are under. >> the residents said they were worried when they initially heard that the city had asked that their identities be revealed, saying they've already been threatened by drug dealers

about coming forward. they say they're worried that having their identities revealed would be dangerous. >> what is going to happen? what's going to happen is that those people, they have threatened me to kill me. it's basically i'm not going to wake up the next morning, the city attorney says anonymous plaintiffs are unusual, and that the plaintiffs attorney didn't initially file the request properly. >> once that paperwork was filed, the city attorney's office says it filed its own paperwork, saying it does not oppose them. remaining anonymous , leaving the matter in the hands of the judge. >> the fact that they have refiled the motion reflects the fact that that first motion was inadequate. from our perspective, we don't want to put any tenderloin residents in any harm's way. we're very sympathetic to the plight of what's happening to the tenderloin. >> the question of if those plaintiffs will be asked to publicly reveal their identities is now in the hands of that judge. if the judge decides they have to reveal their identity, their lawyer says some of them will likely have to drop out of the case to avoid the possibility of retribution. in san francisco, christien kafton ktvu fox two news.

>> well, san francisco police say they arrested dozens of wanted fugitives in a sweep in the tenderloin this week. officers say they arrested 54 people on wednesday and seized 600g of narcotics during the multi-agency operation. 34 of those arrested had outstanding warrants. authorities with other city agencies also towed cars and impounded illegal food vending carts. police say these operations will continue for the foreseeable future around un plaza and other areas. well, state attorney general rob bonta has filed an amicus brief in the us supreme court to protect access to emergency abortion care. bonta was joined by 24 other attorneys general. the group filed the brief in support of the biden administration's challenge to idaho's near-total ban on abortion. an amicus brief is a document that aims to influence the court's decision. the coalition argues that the ban not only endangers women, but would also have serious repercussions on health systems of other states. and in a

eastern berkeley has ceased operations after more than five decades of business. small press distribution announced its decision to close over declining sales and a loss of grant support. the photos taken here show the company's now vacant warehouse in north berkeley, spd was founded back in 1969, distributing books for hundreds of publishers over the years that closure is raising concerns now among those publishers looking to get independent books in the hands of readers. well, a lot of california workers are going to get a very healthy raise this monday. >> that is when a new law mandating $20 an hour wages for fast food workers goes into effect in california. ktvu tom vacar has more on the intended and the unintended consequences of that change. >> california's minimum wage is $16 an hour, so workers making that might choose fast food jobs for $20 an hour, that's a 20% pay increase, way above

today. tomorrow looks mainly dry . just a few scattered showers and cool conditions. a better look at. what we can expect for the weekend and the extended forecast coming up. >> okay. thank you rosemary. well, san francisco firefighters were hard at work overnight battling a fire that burned vehicles and then spread to several buildings. we want to show you the video the fire department posted on social media just after two this morning. that video shows those firefighters using both extinguishers and water hoses to put out the flames. as you can see, flames already at the top of that building. they were on the balconies and the cars below as well. the fire was burning near white street and julian avenue in the mission. firefighters say at least nine people were forced to evacuate. two had minor injuries. no word yet on how that fire started. and in the east bay, firefighters responded to a fire at a grocery store. a viewer sending us this video of that flaming fire in the chip aisle. it all happened at the food max

grocery store in san pablo, contra costa county. firefighters got that call just after 830 last night. the store was evacuated and firefighters say the sprinkler system was activated and put the fire out. no one was injured. the cause of that fire is under investigation . >> two men have been sentenced to prison for selling drugs in san francisco's tenderloin district. federal prosecutors say 225 year olds were living in oakland received prison terms in separate cases, marcos carcamo was sentenced to four years in prison. federal prosecutors say he traveled from oakland to the city a number of times a week to sell drugs, including fentanyl. ortega was sentenced to three years for possession. with intent to sell methamphetamine. this was ortega's fourth conviction, including a prior federal conviction for selling drugs in the tenderloin neighborhood. >> an appeals court ruled that a federal probe into alleged privacy failures by facebook can go forward, while its parent company, meta, sues the federal trade commission. reuters, reporting that the court found

meta had not shown its challenge was likely to be successful. the ftc has proposed sweeping changes to a 2020 privacy order with facebook that would prohibit it from profiting from data it collects on users 17 and younger. meta is suing the ftc, saying its constitutional rights are being violated. governor gavin newsom says hundreds of cameras that read license plates and identify crime linked vehicles by make and model will soon be in place, with the hopes of making oakland and the east bay safer. the camera system is from the company called flock safety, and its systems are already being used by a number of law enforcement agencies. officials say the cameras will take still photos of the backs of cars. it will not take photos of people or faces. some are hopeful that those cameras will have a positive impact. others say they're not so sure if it could help address some of the immediate, you know, public safety issues around stolen vehicles and that kind of thing. >> i think, you know, hopefully

francisco mayor london breed announced the city received an $8 million grant from the federal government to improve the buchanan street mall pedestrian walkway. the mayor says the renovation project will add some lighting, landscaping and information kiosks to outdoor street mall there. other additions will include a performance stage, seating area, picnic and a barbecue area. multiple playgrounds for the kids. work is expected to kick off sometime this fall. >> well, a new plan is in the works to rename the oakland airport. >> it's true, planners say the name change will put the airport on the map and ultimately attract more visitors. but it's getting some mixed reviews. ktvu is amber lee has more now on the new title that could soon take flight. >> a large welcome sign greets travelers at oakland international airport. >> i guess i just like how easy it is compared to other airports i've been to. >> many praised this airport for convenience, but a name change is being proposed instead of metropolitan oakland international airport, its

current official name, the port commission, which oversees airport operations, is considering a new name. san francisco. bay oakland international airport. the airport code okay will remain the same. it is a perfect way to identify geographically where oakland, the city of oakland, is, port commission president barbara leslie says a study found that 50% of international travelers and 30% of domestic travelers, primarily from the east coast, do not know that oakland is in the bay area. still some travelers oppose the name change. i think changing the name and putting san francisco in front is kind of a diss to oakland, and then also going to create more confusion. but the airport's interim aviation director says the name change will raise oakland's profile. he says currently, the lack of knowledge about oakland is causing airlines not to add service and routes at this airport, adding more destinations to our portfolio. >> really, given the airlines an

>> 0809 your time. bay area health officials are warning about an uptick in the number of measles cases ahead of spring break. officials say they put out the health alert to make the public aware, even though there has not been an outbreak in the bay area. the warning does come, though, after the cdc confirmed 64 cases of measles in the u.s. so far this year. health officials are advising people to be up to date on your vaccinations, especially if you do plan to travel internationally during the spring time. >> 64 in this year is already more cases than we had in all of 2023, so it's definitely something to worry about, to think about and to be aware that we are getting more measles than we used to. >> teens and adults who have never gotten the vaccine can get it. now, cdc is recommending the measles vaccine for children 12 to 15 months of age. infants 6 to 12 months old can be vaccinated early if they are traveling abroad. happening tonight it's the home opener for

april 17th, which will be the club's 26th anniversary. >> the much anticipated solar eclipse is just days away now, about a week and a half at nasa is taking advantage of this very rare occurrence. to learn more about the sun's effect on earth and how our planets respond, fox weather correspondent brandy campbell has more. >> well, if you're going to be among millions looking up to the sun and moon during this total eclipse, i'm learning there's more that you should look, listen, and even feel for. on top of that, nasa. they're taking advantage of this rare occurrence to do some experiments. >> it's to study how the sun affects the earth and how our earth responds to it. so how our atmosphere, and especially the layer where carries our communication, collapsed or changes due to the eclipse. >> two experiments will happen in the sky on wb 57 aircrafts chasing the sun, 50,000ft above earth. one will capture images to discover more details of the sun's corona, a dust ring around it, and search for asteroids orbiting nearby. as for the

second aircraft, we're looking at solar explosions as they come off the sun and figuring out what they're made of. another uses radar sites around the world. >> superdarn looks at the layer of the atmosphere that where communication can be affected and it looks at the turning on and turning off of the. sun that happens in the eclipse and its effect on that layer of the atmosphere. >> meanwhile, they will launch three rockets before, during and after the eclipse, deploying scientific instruments going up into that layer of the atmosphere again, where our communication signals are key and studying the changes in density and temperature while the eclipse is passing by, students will also help observing solar active regions. in one experiment. >> now i'm learning there are some odd things that can happen during the eclipse. >> so what should people look out for? >> it'll get cooler to the fact where you might need a jacket. you can look down and see what the trees do to the eclipse through leaves, actually

clock. and talk about our weather. there's always been so much to talk about. march has kept you very very busy. >> yes. you know, here we are at the end of march and we're still talking about winter, like storms out there with snow levels all the way down to about 4000ft. yesterday had a rain snow mix over some of our areas, lake county, and we saw a little bit over mount hamilton. mount diablo saw a shade of pink on the radar yesterday. quite a different story. this morning. we've got blue sky over mount diablo at this hour the winds have calmed down. if you look to the left, that bush, that large tree there that we typically watch sway back and forth is awfully still. we will have a breeze with us for today, but no wind advisory that we had yesterday that expired early this morning, the storm here continuing to move south, we will pick up on the wraparound moisture and the center of the storm. very unstable air. the coldest. air. and with that, the

risk of thunderstorms. still with us for today, especially when we get some of that warmth at the surface and it begins to collide with all that cold air up above, really brings in the instability. storm tracker two giving you a nice look from up above, where we have a mix of sun, clouds and mainly dry weather into the sierra. it's a little quiet here as well, but we expect more the future cast on this into tomorrow night. anywhere from a 10th of an inch to maybe 3/10 of an inch. this with the risk and possibility of those brief downpours that may come with a thunderstorm into the sierra. a few more inches of snow will be a possibility. the timeline on. this. there's a look at the storm. you'll notice it continues to work south, even out of the picture here. and the wraparound moisture air moves into our area. by 5:00 in the afternoon. we may see another round of scattered showers move through. here's tomorrow morning. we do wake up with mostly cloudy skies and then for
