take things a step further, the company decided it didn't want to just give out information it wanted to get maurin walda and helping people get the vaccine. silicon valley behemoth that popularized the polk is helping people get a much sought after poke in the arm with the covid-19 vaccine. facebook partnered with ravenswood family health center to help them scale up community vaccinations to the underserved facebook transformed a small part of its middle park headquarters into a vaccination site, bringing the company's digital efforts into the physical world. facebook has been working on covid work for a while now on the platform and having a commitment to connect 50 million people, too. the vaccine, so simply this is an extension of those efforts off platform eligibility is focused on 18 year olds and up especially essential workers who live in three communities of color considered underserved east palo alto belle haven and north fair oaks leisure communities that have seen hi

to of san francisco's most popular drop sites, where appointments aren't needed. i was super excited, excited because these two sites offered vaccines exclusively to eight city zip codes where vaccination numbers are low. anyone 16 and up in those areas were eligible, and did it. need an appointment. way got here at about 8 30 doors didn't open until nine, but vaccines ran out by 10 30, according to this tweet by the city's department of public health that resulted too many questions coming from residents who waited in line. it's a system district six. supervisor matt haney says needs work. it doesn't appear that they're achieving the equity goals that they've set out. with what they have set up now, haney suggests opening up eligibility to everyone since that's what's going to happen statewide this coming thursday when it comes to getting those tough to reach communities, he says. smaller drop insights need to be sent directly to those neighborhoods. instead of

has announced first dose vaccination appointments are now available for alameda county residents 16 or older who are high risk that would include teachers public friends and employees, janitors and those working in the food industry. the first appointments are available for tuesday. april 13th california has now now has the third lowest new covid rate in the country. the seven day positivity rate is 1.7% on the vaccine front, the public health department reports administering a total of 22.5 million vaccine doses statewide. right now, almost 20% of californians are partially vaccinated and 26. fully vaccinated. the u. s. supreme court has struck down coronavirus restrictions against at home religious worship in california, the court ruled late last night that the state can't restrict small gatherings like bible studies and prayer meetings in private homes. the 5 to 4 ruling calls for the state to lift restrictions on its own religious gatherings. for now,

the mayor of windsor, dominic for poli of sexual assault, the san francisco chronicle reports, the accuser says verbally assaulted her while they were in a three year long relationship. she has since moved out of state. this comes after four women accused for poli of sexual assaults from 2003 to 2019 for polio has not commented on this latest accusation and has denied the allegations by the four other women. an investigation is underway by the sonoma county sheriff's office and the d a's office, the entire windsor town council, sonoma county mayors and both u s congressman from the north bay have all called for poli to step down. former sebastian hall mayor robert jacob was arrested this morning on suspicion of five felonies. sexual assault crimes against children. one charge alleges jacob sexually assaulted a child aged 14 or 15. police say the alleged crimes took place between december 2019 and march 2021, the 44 year old jacob was arrested this morning at his home. he's being held without

bail at the sonoma county jail. now to san mateo, where a rally was held today in support of the asian community. the event was put on by the youth led nonprofit asian uplift. organize you say the goal of today's rally. was to call attention to the recent attacks targeting members of the asian community and to create a space for asian empowerment and healing becomes in power of movement that transcends race, gender age or time. because while asians are the target today, it will be a different group tomorrow. today's rally also included an all women panel of speakers. over the last several weeks, there have been similar rallies taking excuse me being held to show support for the asian community and denounced the recent rise in anti asian sentiment in the bay area and across the nation. funeral arrangements for prince philip have been announced. i'm benjamin hall in london with how britain's longest serving royal consort will be laid to rest coming up. and with a

security, which last year accounted for 23% of the federal budget in washington. lucas tomlinson, fox news. dozens of 7 37 max jets have been pulled from service for inspection after boeing notified airlines of a potential problem. boeing says it told airlines at a potential electrical problem was found. well, some 7 37 max planes were being built in washington state. the faa says the insulation of a particular piece of equipment could affect the plane's backup power supply. it's not clear how long those inspections will take. the issue affects fewer than 100 of the more than 450 max planes that have been built. britain's prince charles today spoke publicly for the first time about his father, prince philip, since the death friday at the age of 99. this is buckingham palace release details on funeral arrangements fox's benjamin hall has more from london. britain's prince charles paid tribute to his late father, prince philip. on saturday, one day after the
